time dream recall what
If I remember a dream, I can only picture where it was and who was in it. I cant remember conversation or anything more. Some people here are telling there dream in detail word for word. But the only dreams I can remember having in the last week seem like they only lasted 2 seconds. So my dream journal is like one sentence for each day. I have become obbsessed with lucid dreaming and yet every night nothing, I cant remember much. So my question is, when you guys are sharing your dreams on this site with long paragraphs and detail, do you remember those dreams being really long in real time or do you remember alot of it but it just feels like it was all stuffed into 2seconds?

I don't have a dream journal online, but when I remember my dreams I remember them in real time. As you continue writing what you do remember in your dream journal, you should start to remember more. Start asking yourself what you were doing before and after the moments you remember, and if you can't remember, start thinking of what you might do if you encountered the situation in real life. Sometimes thinking of these scenarios will trigger the actual dream memory.
There is a tutorial about dream recall that might help you: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ead.php?t=6207

River inbetween worlds
Just as Wavefunction said....
Practice makes perfect.
If you really want to improve. I would recommend you a technique called Image streaming. Its pretty a simple technique, which helped me. Google it, or let me know, if you couldnt find it.
Now... Why I recommend this one. Its becouse writing a dream journal is just a transformation from your experience into words. The more words you have, the better you are in describing, the more you describe real things in words, the better your journal entries will get..
I would better not recommend you to see first posts in my own dream journal
{often just one word >....
