    Thread: Wbtbish Method

      Okay, I say -ish because its not a typical WBTB. Its more of a "Deprive your self of sleep for at least 24 hours then get kick ass REM Rebound next time you sleep" kinda method.

      Sunday night, couldnt sleep at all. I mean, I didnt even try. I just stayed up all night. Sat on my computer, talked on MSN with other people who have fucked up sleeping patterns, and just sat around until about 5:30am. Then, I got ready for school, went to school and went about my day normally. Sometimes I was wide awake and active, others I was extremely tired. Day ends, I go to a friends place, 6 of us hang out and play a bit of pool. Typical normal day. I get home about 6:00, and after about an hour I go and sit down on my futon. I lie down (dumb idea i thought) and fall asleep fairly fast. My dad wakes me up again at 6:20 this morning and to my surprise I remember 2 dreams, both by dream definition, Normal.

      First, this is amazing for me. My recall is, for the lack of a selection of better words, tottally, utterly and just plain SHIT, and somehow has been progressively getting worse. Its rare I even remember a trace of a dream, unless it is really intense. Check my Dream Journal for examples. I have only remembered one "normal" dream before. So, remember 2 in one night is beyond words for me! Hell, remembering 1 at all is lucky and amazing

      I didnt have my journal nearby, and I had to get ready. So I told myself that I would forget about it today, but build off this, seeing as WBTB will definatly work for my recall. However, I get to school and to class and to my surprise, I found I still remembered both dreams as I did when I woke up. Not only that, but in full clarity and mood-wise. So, I took out some paper and a pencil and recorded them.

      Im still gonna get some B12 next time I go out, and am sure that'll help even more. But now that I've finnally succeeded in my goal to remember a couple dreams, I can finally develop my recall and am now one step closer to actually Lucid Dreaming!

      I think what helped though is just after school. I think I felt a lot of stress lifted from me. )(--(Read my stress relief story about my day below that no one really cares about but I just have to say because Im all cool like that)--)(

      Im working on typing up my dreams now So yeah, thats me finnally recalling dreams

      My break pretty much sucked. No snow around here, couldnt go boarding. And most of my friend were busy enjoying their break somewhere else. So I was isolated all my break, and quite bored. Sunday a couple friends straightened my extremely curly, afro-like hair. Twas cool, while it lasted. Had a great day at school, and me and 5 other friends all hung out right after. Something I -- hell, any of us! -- have not been able to do for a LONG time. We all hung out, talked, played games, played some pool and just all around acted like idiots for a few hours. We bought some diet coke and mentos and threw it into the street Wrestling around with my friend, she didn't like my straight hair, so she stuck a handful of gel in it, it almost immediatly curled again. But I got her, and others helping her, back the same way

      Thats something I havnt been able to do for a long time, actually have fun. I think this may have also helped with the fact that I remembered 2 (and still do at this moment, though their mood is kinda lost).

      Cool. The first technique to Lucid Dreaming that I ever heard about was to deprive your self of as much sleep you could possible bare. Then before your going to go to sleep listen to relaxing music, and eat 10 bananas. Kind of a ...........well, a crude method. LOL.

      I never used to have dreams(so I thought) Then I began really trying to think about what dreams I had during the night right when I wake up. Now I can remember 2-4 dreams ever morning, by just thinking about it for like 10 minutes in the morning. Its really cool to remember most of your dreams.

      Dr. Pepper is much more reactive with mentos. Try drinking a bottle of Dr. Pepper and swollowing 3 mentos, then holding your breath. Its really uhhhhhhh, how do I say it. Painful, explosive, and it may leave your body the same way it came in. Proceed with caution.
