Unhappy What if i don't have a dream sign!!!

I've been reading up on dream signs and I can't really seem to place mine. I have dreams about random stuff every time. Every dream i have is different in every way. How can i "get a dream sign" and how can i remember this well enough to incorporate it into my dreams.

Please help, i can't LD without it!

Start an online dream journal here on the forums. I'll point them out to you.

Also, how long have you been keeping a journal? It may take a few weeks to distinguish patterns. And even then, patterns can change.

A common dreamsign is dreaming about what you did before bed. Think of the shows you watch, the music you hear, the people you talk to, and the games you play an hour or few before sleep. I bet they seep into your dreams. As do any future event you are stressing/excited over.

yeah, usually my dreams involve what happened earlier that day and something i've been thinking about before bed.

just like you, i don't necessarily have a dream sign either, my dreams are totally random and change all the time also... but I have noticed a few things that are dream signs they just don't occur very often. For example a few nights ago I realized I was dreaming because I was at my dad's house and my dog ran up to me (we put her down 2 years ago) I thought to myself, she's dead.. and realized I was dreaming.

another thing is usually when theres weed around because I stopped smoking a month ago and haven't been around weed for a whole month.. but i've never caught onto that one

I will start a dream journal and re-read them every week, and then see if anything is common. Thanks.

Is it possible to have no dreamsign? Because I can't remember any, but nevertheless became lucid two times now. I just knew that it was a dream, somehow I remembered that my real body was lying in bed. o_O
I did a reality check then and voilá: it was a dream.

I think it IS possible to not have a dreamsign N@vi, but it's very rare, a dream sign doesn't need to be a physical thing, it could be certain time, strange weather, the way you feel. Dream signs can vary greatly.

Yeah same with me. I can remember my dreams fairly well..and if i WBTB i always remember my dreams..but they always seem to be different..like COMPLETELY different.
I have dreams about everything and im having extreme difficulty finding any 'dream signs' or finding anything at all that is consistent...

I don't know where you got the idea that you can't LD without a dreamsign. Dream signs are just a way to help you LD, and they are helpful, but if you don't have any, you can simply work on becoming more aware of your consciousness during waking life and during dreams.

Just focus on doing reality checks and questioning your state (are you or are you not dreaming?). I mean, you should've done one the moment you read the sentence I just wrote. You should be constantly questioning reality, and eventually you will get to a level of consciousness where you just recognize in dreams that they aren't real. No dreamsigns required.

No, I don't think dreamsigns are necessary. I've only had one LD in my life before I knew such things existed things like LDs and dreamsigns existed, and I almost had another. Looking back at my dreams, I don't find anything in common with any of them.
Life in a box is better than no life at all, I expect. You'd have a chance, at least. You could lie there thinking, "Well. At least I'm not dead.'

I think Shift has quite a point, it is perfectly possible to attain lucidity without ever having a dreamsign. Sometimes one can just 'tell' that a dream has began.

Dreamsigns are very useful, but not neccesary.

I'm shure now that I don't have a dreamsign. Today I was lucid again, but as always there was nothing that would have told me that this was a dream, I just knew that my real body was lying in bed. ^^

I thought that I had no dream sign for a while then I read something about how dreamsigns don't have to be physical (as a few people have already said.)
Now I realize my dream signs are not being able to move fast when I have to, being blinded by light, and being naked from the waist down, never above the waist. Lol.
