      Hi Zeus welcome to dreamviews.

So, you are having dreams you would rather forget? I wonder if your subconcious mind is trying to help you deal with something in yor life?

Rather than forgetting them, perhaps it would be better to analyze them and try to find out what they are telling you. You can post some of them in the Dream Interpretation forum if you like and see what some people think.

Why wouldn't you want to recall your dreams, I want to recall all of my dreams..

      WHY NOT REMEMBER?

I WOULD JUST AS SOON FORGET HOW I DIED AFTER MISSING A CORNER
AND CRASHING THROUGH A GUARDRAIL AND LIKE JUST INTO THE DARKNESS,
IT IS REALLY CREEPY TO SEE THIS.
AND TRYING TO TELL MY WIFE I THINK I AM DEAD.
BUT I SHALL NEVER FOR GET IT.

      Right...

I think that people might take you more seriously if you didn't type your message all in capitals, it doesn't make anyone want to help you more, its just annoying.

I think you just have to get over it, you will forget it eventually if you stop making such a big deal out of it. It is that reaction to the dream, where you keep thinking about it, that keeps you remembering. Anyway, that dreams not so bad, you're making such a big fuss over nothing. I've had worse dreams than that.

What do you mean you're trying to tell your wife you think you're dead? Thats silly. You'll only worry your wife and go crazy from thinking about the implications of being dead yet still posting on a forum to ask for help on the subject.

Just don't think about. Being a dream it will quickly fade if you don't think about it. Some dreams are just so good(or really scary?) that you start thinking about it and then once its in your head its hard to forget.

The best thing to do is go to sleep right after you have a dream, you will forget it in no time.

This is probably a bit late, but sometimes going to sleep doesn't help after you have a dream.Because if the dream is that intense, you'll remember it for a while....

fyi, he types in caps because thats how everyone in our family types most of the time...

Nevertheless, what Aphius says is spot on.
By continually dragging the memory back, you're only causing it to stick in your mind for longer, and more vividly.
Focus on something else, get motivated to have a lucid dream about something you like.
The redirection of your thoughts will ease the forgetting

Of course, its by no means a guarantee you'll forget the dream, but the memory will most likely fade somewhat making it not seem as bad. The only reason it'd continue seeming so bad, that I can think of, is if you're continuously remembering it and thinking something like \"Oh man! Woo! That was nasty! I think I may never sleep again.\"

Thats not really a justification, however I was just informing him that if he wishes to be taken seriously, typing in caps isn't the way to do it.

When typing in caps, one may be fooled into thinking that it gives a look of urgency or a greater pull of attention from readers, however this really isn't how most others see it. People who type in all caps are usually mocked on internet chat boards and rooms because its kind of annoying, the internet equivalent of someone shouting in your ear.

Or better yet if you are going to get focused on lucid dreaming do so with the intent to resolve the issue. Face the fear head on. For in a dream you have no physical reprecutions. But interpret and have an idea of how to confront a fear before blindly going into it.
A thought, issue or problem will still be there somewhere in the back of your head if you run from it. Only to surface at another place and time. Don't supress it.

I think Seeker hit it on the head.

I think everyone is right in their advice and you should listen to them. I just popped in to add 'witchy' stuff. =P

Iron. Iron is a great way to block energies, if that's what you're looking to do. I don't suggest using it all the time, as it can severely screw up your energies (not only does it block incoming stuff, but it can also block outgoing stuff). But if you need a little time to sort of catch up with yourself, it can work wonders.

Some metals are great for conducting energies of all kinds (for example, copper and silver are the two best in my opinion). I can't explain the science behind it, but iron just has those "blocking" sort of properties when it comes to magic and energy in general. My book (I had to go dig it out of the closet, lol) says that iron is also used to ehance physical strength, but I think that's just a byproduct of blocking the negative energies hindering one's ability to advance. It says, too, that in days of old, a small pice of iron under the pillow was used to "scare away demons" at night (i.e. nightmares).

The cool thing about iron is that it's super easy to find. It's pretty much everywhere if you look.

I'm gonna have to throw an iron hammer into the works:

Have you heard of James Conrad? He's a guy who is deep in experimentation with telekinesis on himself.
His theory so far is that his iron levels in his blood influence his abilities. More iron = more TK.

Sounds opposite to your theory - which is why I don't believe in either

Neet. Thanks A Lost Soul. I am pretty ignorant in that whole mystic realm. Maybe that\'s how "Iron man" got statred?.
As far as scaring away demons.....It is said that can gargoyles work for that too.

I would not suggest a pillow fight if your going to put any iron in your pillow to all the slumber party teens out there.
To all those wives.......here is your chance. (Honest dear, it is just to block out bad energy.
