15" of snow this morning!!
I was supposed to go into work to do treatments on the boarding cats this morning, but when I looked outside, the snow is up to the bumper of our 4 wheel drive Chevy! Had to have someone else cover for me.
This is what I woke up to at 6:30am...
If you can't read the measurement, it says 19"!!

So needless to say, we get to spend out New Year's Day shoveling snow and trying to get out of the driveway.

Adam, come on over, we live right by a good ski hill as well, though there may be too much snow for snowboarding!
Vex, did you end up getting any snow?

Hope you don't have anywhere to go today. If anything it's an excuse to stay home and snuggle with everyone.
I think we only got a couple of centimeters, about an inch or so.

|Don't tempt me!! I would be over there in a shot! I love the snow, I really am in the wrong country! I can't go snowboarding till February anyway as waiting for an operation on my toe

Since someone had to work for me this morning, I have to into work to do the evening treatments on the cats. And we are supposed to be going to James' parents' house for New Year's dinner. As long as we can get the truck out of the driveway, I'll think we'll be ok. Our city got it worse than surrounding cities - there's only about 6" by my work. And that's nothing! Awh I hope some of that snow blowns down south a bit, I'm sad we've only had one real snow so far this year. I want more snow!!!

Whoaaaa. We had like a cover of maybe an inch or so of snow on the roads today, and I almost died like 5 times just driving to the grocery store around the corner. Your place must be NUTS!!
Does look very pretty though. Is it the sticky kind of snow?
By the way, did I hear birds chirping in that video??

But we Michigan drivers are used to this kinda thing, and most people know how to drive carefully in these conditions. I say "most" because you get the occasional idiot who thinks they are invincable and end up causing an accident.
