This is probably the most horrific thing I've ever seen in my life.
Please, don't watch this if you're easily disturbed.

This seriously shocked me. I knew this kind of thing was happening, but seeing it happen really gives you the slap in the face you deserve.
The really sad thing is, becoming vegetarian really won't make that much of a difference
I just don't understand how those people can stand to castrate animals without painkillers.
News flash: We're on top of the food chain. Becoming vegetarian (as you stated) won't do anything. It's just something we have to deal with.
You do this every fucking time.
No sweat.
No tears.
No guilt.
You do this every fucking time.

well I agree some methods are cruel and should be changed but meat is meat. I have chickens of my own and certenly wouldnt treat them that way but how would the farmers make any money doing it otherwise? hell my chickens get to peck in the grass, roam and they love to roll in the dust... point is what happens to my chickens is what i decide, same for those farmers. some methods like castrating without drugs is cruel for sure hell I've help my dad (who is a vet) with many castrations on the farm, the animals arnt too happy when they wake up. changes should be made but nothing to serious. and groups like PETA has good morals but I think they go way to far, animals are not equal to humans. meat is tasty and that shouldnt be tampered with.

Why did I have to watch that?
I think most of us know what goes on but turn a blind eye.
That is disturbing.![]()
That's really horrible. Why does life have to be so cruel on animals? It's a good job humans aren't treaten like that, but I think the people involved in doing it to animals should get the same treatment (without being eaten of course).
Seriously, it's enough to make anyone stop eating meat for good. Knowing what the animal went through, just to go on some random guy's plate to have their courpse eaten.
You know, I'm sure vegetation isn't the right word.
But nah, I'm not, but the video makes me think about what I'm eating, that's for sure! Also, why would you look for a gun when someone's against animal cruelty?![]()
Oh, didn't realize, sorry.![]()

I became a vegetarian because of animal cruelty in slaughterhouses. It made me really mad to see people doing that to animals. People know that animals have feelings too, I don't see why they would inflict pain on creatures that can feel. If everyone became vegetarians animals wouldn't have to suffer because if no one ate meat, the meat industry would lose money which would mean that they couldn't run the slaughterhouses anymore...I know that many people really don't care so PLEASE do not respond to what I just typed. In anyway humans can be very cruel for no reason and I do not understand why.

P.S. PETA is great. I don't care what anyone has to say about them. The Animal Liberation Front is much more forceful than PETA.
What's PETA?
That is hardly pertinent.News flash: We're on top of the food chain.
"Civilized men are more discourteous than savages because they know they can be impolite without having their skull split; as a general thing."

Think about the video while you watch this...

Im all for people being nice to pet animals, but groups like PETA are trying to ban guns so naturally I have to be agianst them. I dont mind at all people being vegetarians you dont like meat great! dont eat it. it stuff like banning hunting and guns that force me to be thrown in the ring. if people could stay away from what I enjoy I wouldnt care at all what they would do.

What's PETA?
i think that is disgusting how people can do that to animals.. ok fair enough nothing ever going to change the fact that we eat meat.. but i honestly dont see why they have 2 mistreat them so badly, why it cant just be a quick painless procedure ill never know.
i could honestly do to them people what they do to them animals and laugh in their face because its so cruel..
i wish that the slaughter of animals for meat became illegal, and simply had 2 be something like a shot in the head or something painless.
PETA stands for People for the ethical treatment of animals
heres some dirt I dug up.

PETA has contributed tens of thousands of dollars to animal-rights activists who have been charged with or convicted of crimes.
Ingrid Newkirk is the head of PETA; she is nothing more that a extremist. Don't fall for her BS image of "saving the animals." This is the same woman who urged Yasser Arafat to spare animals in suicide bombings, but could care less about the humans that were being killed. To show just how much of a crackpot this woman is, click the following link to see her afterlife requests:
PETA members believe that animals should have the same rights as people.
PETA head, Ingrid Newkirk has stated that there is no moral difference between poultry farms and Nazi death camps.
PETA has stated repeatedly that their goal is "total animal liberation." This means no pets, no meat, no milk, no zoos, no circuses, no fishing, no leather, and no animal testing for lifesaving medicines.
PETA funds the misnamed Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine 3, an animal-rights organization that presents itself as an unbiased source for nutritional information and has links to a violent animal-rights group called SHAC.
PETA has used their contributors’ tax-exempt donations to fund the North American Earth Liberation front, an FBI-certified “domestic terrorist” group responsible for fire bombs and death threats.
PETA cares more about chickens and other farm animals than they do about starving or sick children..
PETA regularly targets kids as early as elementary school with anti-meat and anti-milk propaganda. They also operate a webpage which advocates to people to stop drinking all milk because its supposedly a health hazard! PETA believes that milking cow's is a painful and hurtful experience. However, I once asked a cow about it, and he told me he ENJOYS getting his nipples squeezed, therefore, PETA LIES!
PETA spends less than one percent of its $13 million budget actually caring for animals.
PETA has repeatedly attacked groups like the March of Dimes, the Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and the American Cancer Society, for conducting animal testing to find cures for birth defects and life-threatening diseases.
"I think it would be great if all of the fast-food outlets, slaughterhouses, these laboratories and the banks that fund them exploded tomorrow.” -PETA Vice President Bruce Friedrich
PeTA co-founder Ingrid Newkirk once said even if animal research resulted in a cure for AIDS, "we'd be against it."
"Arson, property destruction, burglary and theft are 'acceptable crimes' when used for the animal cause." -Alex Pacheco, Director, PeTA
"We feel that animals have the same rights as retarded children." -Alex Pacheco, Director, PeTA,
"To those people who say, `My father is alive because of animal experimentation,' I say `Yeah, well, good for you. This dog died so your father could live.' Sorry, but I am just not behind that kind of trade off." -Bill Maher, PeTA celebrity spokesman
"Six million Jews died in concentration camps, but six billion broiler chickens will die this year in slaughter houses." -Ingrid Newkirk, President, PeTA,
"The life of an ant and that of my child should be granted equal consideration." -Michael W. Fox, Vice President, The Human Society
Regan when asked which he would save, a dog or a baby, if a boat capsized in the ocean: "If it were a retarded baby and a bright dog, I'd save the dog." -Tom Regan

Well they're not exactly the opposite of people who're against animal cruelty, but they do seem a bit obsessive about animals.

I really wouldn't mind people eating meat if the animals were killed humanly. PETA(People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is the largest animal rights activist group in the world. This might be the last post I make in this thread because I really don't like to argue with people that don't have open minds and do not look at facts. I didn't know that PETA was trying to ban guns(even though that would be good for both animals and humans) hunting is good and bad in ways...I don't feel like getting into that at the moment.

Banning guns and hunting is just stupid.
Let's tell cougars and other predators to stop killing and eating deer and others right?
I believe animals should be treated humanely. I don't believe animals, as creatures that cannot reason, should have rights.
I hunt my own animals, and when possible I buy meat from traditional farms where the animal is happy for the duration of it's life, not slaughterhouses.
PETA and othert groups are no different than terrorists, they both want to impose their lifestyle and beliefs on everyone regardless of rights involved.
People sleep peacefully at night only because rough men stand ready to visit violence on those who would do them harm. -George Orwell
