Huh. Don't have enough info to form much of an opinion, but there sure is room for speculation!

If it was a terrorist attack I doubt it would have been just any old building. It would have been a huge skyscraper or a well known building that would give them recognition for what they had done. I doubt it was any more than an accident.

Yeah. I gotta think it was an accident. I mean the only person killed was the pilot, right? (One is confirmed dead. I'm guessing it's the pilot.)

But then, if it was more than just an accident, the only think it could serve to do is to conjure up the spectre of 9/11 to "remind" us of that day and have us in a way 'relive' the horror it spawned.

But then again, the government does its best to keep that engraved in our minds, anyway, to promote "national security," so the point would be kinda....weak.

next year a plane will crash into a building on 11/11!

Haha yeah I agree. Why would they just attack a normal building where only the "kamikaze" pilot died?

depends on what building it was for me to consider it was a terrorist attack. i doubt that if it just flew into some old unused building that it was a terrorist attack. and especially if it was a small plane.

i don't really see how an experience pilot could "accidently" fly a plane into a building though. seems like the chances of it happening are really slim.

edit: oh wow it was a yankees pitcher that was killed? again i don't know it said that there were only two people killed. sounds a little low to aim for a terrorist. sounds like it would cause mass pissed offness rather than mass terror and panic :/

Pastro's got it right....aparantly one of the pitchers from the yankees was flying a little plane with an intructor and he crashed it...not sure if it was a mechanical failure or anything. not surprisingly, espn has had constant coverage of it.

i didn't hear about it till i got here.

dont worry...it was a false alarm a learner plane flyer lost control of his plane and it crashed into a building...it still seems a bit suspisious though...
