Don't really know. The best avatars are ones that stick in my head, and since we all change them like every week I can't remember any now. Which sort of defeats the idea of an avatar.

what IS the idea of an avatar then? i just thought they were there to look pretty.

I think it's so people who can't be bothered to read your username can tell you apart from other members.

Actually, I really like Seeker's & Icedawg's! Splash's is pretty cool too, but I like all of yours as well! The only avatars I think suck are the ones under my name (if they were under someone else's name, I would think otherwise!)

I really can't say who has the 'best' avatar either, I mean, it's just a very subjective question. And also almost everyone switches avatars (along with sigs and sex) too freely for me to guess anything for sure.

Actually, I downloaded it from an avatar area, b/c Lyn from Fire Emblem is my favorite Video Game character!

Yeah that's what I think. I don't want to squint at crappy tiny little names all the time so I just glance at the avatar. And if it's "that woman with headlice," it was Alex D, and it i was that biochemical sign, then it was hysteria, which is why people get confused when there is an avatar pirate. THE SCIENCE OF AVATARTS. Somebody should write an abstract about that or whatever

The coolest I've seen are Kaniaz's old cat one (lime cat or whatever it was ), Seeker's current one, Aquasia Sunset's girl one, and the one Ramu had the day I joined!

I was going to say my "fav all time avatar" has to be:-

When i saw Kaniaz i was going to get Meatwad as my Avatar but i thought it would be poserish , maybe not
