Glad I live on the east cost
the news is more frightening than any horror movie I've ever seen. I don't even need to go in to why this is a bad idea, it just IS.

100% of the people I meet are idiots. If you are the one guy in the world who isn't an idiot, put this in your sig line.
Why does Oregon have to be so close to California?
psh, I live in the bay area.
The pollution here is making me sick.
So is the overpopulation.
It's total chaos over here, IMO
everything's so damn expensive . .
The government does a lot of things that
they'll never tell us.
And that biodefense lab is up to a lot more
than what they say they are.
I'm glad I'm moving to New York in a couple of weeks.
And yeah, looks like a bad idea![]()

Very bad indeed because the threat is more ominous than they make their 'research' sound. A few years back a federal law was passed making it legal for the government to test chemical and biological weapons on american towns without telling the townspeople.
Who is to say they wont utilize this law in their tests? The new facility would test some of the deadliest toxins known to man in simulations of terrorist attacks.[/b]
Very comforting, the US signed a treatyBut they firmly deny that advancing biological weapons is the facility's aim, pointing out the United States signed the 1975 Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention, a treaty that banned the development, production and stockpiling of bioweapons.[/b]![]()
It might mean more if the US actually Obeyed its treaties. And besides they can easily mask bioweapons research as 'epedemiological experiments' just like a few months ago when the government spliced spanish flu capsid genes into the H5N1 virus as 'research' ... which resulted in them obtaining a human-human transmissable airborne virus with an extremely high mortality rate.
