yeah, its hard to know what to make of him...'mindfreak' is one of the few shows i enjoy watching. pretty intense stuff.

I'm suspicious. That could easily be faked.

Of course it's bloody fake
it's a magic trick
he's not a damn wizard

the fun's in the illusion
the "how did he do it?"

The people don't seem genuinely surprised so they are obviously paid to be in on it. Its probably an openable window of some kind which was opened by the other dude when his boots were taken off and they zoom in. Also, the paper may seem randomly picked with fake crumpled wrinkles but obviously it isn't because it's perfect size to cover the lowerhalf of the window...anyone else notice him seemingly close/pull down something as he stepped out completely? I definitely couldn't pull it off but still not that impressed.

Hehe. I love to hear some of the attitudes toward magic tricks.

What people "see," what people don't see; perceptions of the of the "obvious," that may or may not really be there. I think it's interesting how people will follow their assumptions of what's happening, (which differ from person to person) and let that take away from the overall experience of the illusion just because, naturally, people don't like to feel like they can be fooled, even when they admit they don't know how it's being done.

I dont claim to know how its being done or be know how to do it by any means, its just I just dont buy into stuff that easily ... To me, the possibilities of that one being easily duplicated are seemingly endless and its not even that marvelous of a trick if you ask me. We don't see any back story or why he picked that window, so of course I'm gonna doubt the whole setup of it going in.

If he made something like a ship disappear or something I could give him a little bit more props, you know what I mean?

i'd be more impressed if he didn't cover the window with paper.

*laughs* obviously its fake-an illusion...as others have said, its trying to figure out the illusion that's the fun part.

he has done other things on the show such as have an suv drive onto his chest while he was lying on a bed of nails. or just plain crazy stuff like suspend himself from a helicoptor by hooks piercing his back.

he's entertaining...and that's all he professes to be-an entertainer.

well yeah, I don't think anyone Can walk though glass. However, it's really Really nicely faked. I have no idea how they did it. I mean it's a whole lot of better then some sucky card trick.

In one episode of MindFreak he talks about a trick, pushing a pen through a mirror that he bought in a magic store as a kid. That inspired his walk through a window illusion. In one episode he also pushes a ring through a glass counter, and its wild.

Most mindblowing is when he levitates a woman. Unless he had camera tricks, I've no idea how it was accomplished. I'm looking forward to season 2.

To back up what I said before, I know its an illusion I just dont think its that amazing. There is one 'magician' here in japan that does some pretty crazy stuff that I have no idea how its done and am genuinely impressed when I see his stuff...
