Reply With Quoteno way! i just tore up my rear end doing the same thing! i ripped the center out of my cast iron ring gear... then i ate up all the spider gears... then i broke my drive shaft in 3 places... yeah... it was expensive... and now my transfer case is clicking once i get in excess of 3k on my rpms... my damn car is falling apart!i wonder why...
i've never taken it out to the track so i don't know exact times... but i do know that i can smoke most any honda/toyota off the line... most late model mustangs too.

Drag Racing
Ok, so me and my dad got up at 7:00 on Sunday, and left at 7:20 so we could go load up my dad's friend's car to go to a track that's 2 hours away..Well, when we got to the track, we unloaded the car off the trailer, and he went for a run.He clocked in at 10.23 on a thousand foot.Faster than most, but slower than some.So we were cheering him on and everything and he came over to us and told us he broke the rear end..He toar up the spider gears..Anyway, we watched some more races, and all I felt was jelousy, all those kids younger than me with there nice junior dragsters, and the worst part was is that across from our 3k$ truck, our 1k$ truck, and our 3k$ car, was a 200k$ mobile garage ,200k$ motorhome, 150k$ Corvette dragster(with the sweetest looking paint job I ever saw) and a junior dragster.I was pissed....
Anyway, if you know someone that drag races or you do, what was there fastest time?Probably faster than 10.23.A lot of the cars, motorcycles, and rail cars were running in the 4's....You guys suck.

Holy shit how the hell did a scooter do that?
To bad that crap happened to your car man...The spider gears aren't going to cost a thing for him.Oh yeah, btw it is a 67 nova.Im not entirely sure about the 67 but I think that is what it is.My dad has a 64 chevy truck.It flies like a son-of-a-bitch when it want's to..But it still only tops out at a 11.80 on the track.But that is all gonna change. *cough*nos*cough* plus he got a new fuel cell that he is going to put in.The one that is in it now is stock, and is leaking like shit...You guys suck.
