Wow.
That stirs up a lot of emotions for me. I am sad. For many years, so many other members and myself have tried so hard and done so much to build this site. Only to have it discredited like that.

I can't wait till the sadness wears off.
So then I am PISSED OFF

made by a disgruntled ex-member a few months ago

it all kicked off in a feedback thread that seems to have been deleted now

eeeh. What is out there is out there. I am confident that members looking from the inside out will see this as child like behavior. I am more concerned about people, potential lucid dreamers, potential DV members, that will see this for something that is not.
I fear that someone that could have lucid dreaming brought to light, may be turned away.
Think of how selfish that entire read is. They do not care in the least about anyone but themselves.
I am also confident that who ever they are, any Moderating was brought on by their own actions.

Good things as we grow!!
The more members the more valid the concept.
More members. the more it would seem evident that the very few, three, four or five members, that take up issue with the moderating guidelines, that it is they that are the problem.

This was posted already as Ynot said. And as he also said, it was just some moron's rantings, thinking he was funny by doing that. But if you know anything about that site you know that it's all tongue-in-check bullsh!t anyway. The expression "drama queen" comes to mind.

But I'm with Howie. When the member that made that Dramatica entry posted the link the first time I was pissed about it too. I like the way someone who wanted to be a member was such a d!ckhead to write that. For shame.

Oh, screw Leo Volont. Why can't people get over him/her/it (them) and move on with life?

It's in the "Create new ways to become banned" thread. Boy, that thread got out of hand on a number of levels. A few people nearly got banned as result of that thread.

You guys are too serious. It's just a joke, and pretty funny if you are a DV member - more like an inside joke, as for others it will not be of interest.
Or maybe I missing the subtle joke here, and you guys that say you are pissed off are pretending to not get the joke, there by creating another joke. Or maybe I am, when I say that you are too serious, is actauly joking by pretending that I think that you are serious, there by adding yet another layer of hilarity.

It has been considerably cleaned up since the last time I saw it!

That article is from Encyclopedia Dramatica, which is a comedy site, and a damn funny one. I got a huge kick out of reading it a while back. It is like Saturday Night Live making fun of you if you are a celebrity or being roasted if you are a legend. It should be taken as a compliment. I think this site was actually honored by that article.

Leo is a legend I told you most of you 99.9% did not like him, but you have to admit he had style.
