Sounds really fun, but I'm only 16... Parents probably won't let me go. Damnit.

alright, here's my status: my little brother is having a serious back operation because a tree fell on him and did several numbers on his spine (like practically shattered the whole thing), but we don't know the date. it needs to be done asap and we're thinking early July. if they do it soon before or on the date, I can't go. if they do it on, like, the 14th or later, there is a huge chance I will be there. so it all depends on the date of this surgery.

Jeez, can we unsticky this already, people still think it's gonna happen. I foresee wasted money, sad faces and shattered hearts...

If Catbus and Invader can confirm, I'll use as many resources as I can to get here.

I got kicked with a few grand in medical bills about 3 weeks ago buddy. *sigh*
I wasn't even sure if I still was going to go. Very, very few people still seemed interested, and like Xaq I think it would have sucked to arrive to meet just a handful of people. If those people were you and nerve and Catbus, however, that would have been cool too.

I always find it sad when good ideas bite the dust.

Heh, well PA is in Real 'Murica (TM), but we'll also be out in the sticks, so I suppose adults in general are fine.

alcohol doesn't interest me much anymore...if I want to hang out with drunken idiots I could just head out to any bar (no offense and not insinuating you or your friends are or ever have been drunken idiots)

Probably just booze and green. It's a family party first and foremost, with many townsfolk attending--country people, bikers, ex-cons, and maybe a couple of hippies (PA-style hippies, which is to say they still own multiple firearms). Sound like fun?

There's an outside chance of fungus amongus (certainly a half-dozen people who would be down with it), but I wouldn't bet on it. Still, if you're of urban/'burban origins, the anthropological experience alone would probably be a trip
