Thread: Explain this

Please, i don't wanna hear some crazy storys, i just want a simple logic answer for this that happened many years ago to me.

My dad went and took my dog ( RIP )for a walk, so i was laying on the couch because every weekend we gotta sleep in the living room on the couch instead of our bed, it was like a treat for me and my sis. Anyway, i start to drift off, i hear some noises in the basement (i know the difference between the basement and outside), i hear some things falling over like domimos (some big crashing sounds), then i hear some heavy footsteps coming up the stairs, like he was trying to make loud noises, then i hear footsteps coming to my back, so i am all scared and literally can't move, the steps stop RIGHT behind me, i'm all scared and say "go away" to whatever is behind me, then 10 seconds later i hear the noises in the basement again, then they vanish once my dad opens the door from the doggy walk. I go downstairs, nothing tipped over when you could hear the sound of alot of shit falling over. Logically...what the hell was that? i have always wondered, maybe a ghost? maybe my imagination? maybe the floor creeking...but i literally could hear all of this through my ears.
