Thread: Eye surgery

Yep, and you're awake for the whole thing. It's amazing how quick it all is and from everyone I've talked to who has had this surgery (and my own research), the effect is instantaneous! Also, as soon as that flap of skin that had been removed (from the cornea?) is replaced, the eye begins to heal itself. Just do a little research on it. It's pretty cool.

I can't wait to have it done. I'm just waiting for my eyes to stop getting worse One of the qualifications for the surgery is that your prescription can't significantly change for two years.

That is so disgusting. If the price is either glasses or that procedure I'd go with that one 9 times out of 10.

One of the few things that just seems physically wrong is messing around with eyes. It shouldn't be done.

I don't see anythin wrong with eye surgery. Lol its just that the people who get it look awfully suprised /snicker.

Imagine wearing glasses and/or contacts all of your life, and then having the chance to wake up some morning and be able to say to yourself, "I can see!" As one of those people, I can't wait to have the surgery! The procedure improves all the time and is becoming more and more safe... and cheaper (more or less).

It only takes about 10 minutes per eye, I think, maybe less.

Out of all the eye-surgery videos on youtube, you got that one . Ugh, I searched eye surgery on youtube and there is a fish-hook-in-eye surgery .

I wear glasses as well, admittedly my eyes aren't terrible but there's a noticable improvement when I wear them.

I still stand by my post. I find it disgusting to have people poking around with your eyes.

As for the video-mosquito thing, that was actually pretty interesting, also less horrific than the eye surgery.

That's pretty bad Cymek...I must say. The eye surgery didn't get me though, it's just...surgery.
