What is it about part 7 that everyone likes??? Even most of the people in this forum prefer FFVII. I'm not gonna deny it was awesome... but IMHO the best was FFVI.
If anyone here has been a part of the final fantasy series, (i myself have only been a part of VII and VIII) and know where to get the earlier versions on pc or anything it would greatly be appreciated
also if u know any good sites to see then post them here
VII was the best id say, i think my loyalty for it has been revived so im getting adsl and buying the new one XI
feel free to bring me up to date anyone

Early Morning Moment,
A Glimpse of Joy,
But soon it's Over, and I return to Dust...
i havnt actually played XI or the others below that...so if anyone has them or knows where to find them would be great
but yeah the theme of VII was the best...had a feel of its own
No offence to anyone who likes the game, but there are WAY to many final fantasy games. I heard a lot of them have nothing remotely to do with each other and they just use the name over and over because it sells easier.
yeah true...when heard of IX and X i was a bit annoyed cos i felt like i was missing out..but on all acounts they sort of have the same feel.......so they are linked but different......
They are all kinda medievalish, even if they are set n the fuure everyone has swordI love it. I've played everyone ( as I said on another thread) own ever one of them. They are all so.. lureing.. You gotta play em
Alric! ff7 is my favorite, but its like completely level with ff6

I think a lot of them are pretty old though so I doubt they are still good. Which ones on pc that isn't like outdated but still old enough to be really cheap? If theres one like that, thats good I might try heh
have u played ffXI yet, theyre bringing in the pvp aspect now
FFVII+FFVIII are like 15 bucks for computer.
Anyone played ff origins?I thought it was pretty awesome.
Oh yeah, squall. In my opinion, its just not the same on the computer.![]()
You guys suck.
The games basically have no consistency or relevane to each other at all except for common names and the title. However, it is the same teams, same concepts of gaming (RPG style, each game having its own uniqueness).Originally posted by Alric

The title (however contradictory it may seem to others who havn't played it, Final Fantasy.. being a series.. final.. yes), let's others know that the teams are the same (relatively) just like any other series of media. So Final Fantasy is like the Rocky of video games.
I like Final Fantasy, I want to play FFVI for the fifth time right now.. lol. FF6 and FF8 (screw roman numerals) are my favorite. I want FF11.. but I do not think I have the time to spare to play it right now..
Hm.. I've been drinking.. am I ranting? I think I have. Good night.
Except FFX-II, leave that out... Choke
u rekon ffxII is gonna be not as good as the others?
Nah he's talking about FFX-2 as in Final Fantasy X - Second Part. It's been out for a while now. And you don't want anything to do with it.
Hey anyone got Tactics? THAT was good.
nooo, must break online gaming habiti played FFXI way too long, final stopped playing it. might have to check it out when PVP comes, but then again, maybe note
my friend is pushing me to play city of heroes mmorpg, looks rather sweet...
does anyone know if ff XI is playable in australia...like it has no crappy problems or restrictions since it isnt based like america and japan...??
thanx
u mean probally not as in it wont be playable..or it will be..
As in probably incompatible because Australia usually is one of the last to be able to do the online thing.
ive been on australian websites for ff XI and im still getting answers...some said it is but only worth it with broadband......as the servers are in japan and america...i rekon it will be as other non japan and usa nations can..but thanx for the help..once im 100% sure ill get it![]()
Arent ya talking about the FF MMO??
you should be able to connect to the servers, regardless of where you are? Maybee get a high ping but thats not that important for an MMO.
Ping is pretty important for online games in general. FFXI and other games don't run good on modems. You'll want a low ping to not get annoyed.Originally posted by CT

That sucks. We have some of the crappiest broadband deals out there, it was even on the radio, about how we are lagging behind America and some other countries...Originally posted by Squall

I don't think that FFXI is available here in Australia, but I guess you could buy it off ebgames.com or e-bay...
P.S. FFX-2 is really cool in my opinion.
and I may sound like an idiot but, what the heck is Ping?!?![]()
These are the tears that I dream about...
Ping is your bandwidth.
You guys suck.
