      Getting 1 quadrillion dollars

OK guys, I intend to buy 1 quadrillion Zimbabwean dollars (1,000,000,000,000,000 Z$ = 1,000 €). Do you think my bank can supply this in cash?

As we all know, a worldwide depression is imminent and I'm very certain that Zimbabwe will make it big afterwards and owning a quadrillion dollars of the future's currency will come in handy.

      See you in hell, suckers.

      Lol, why Zimbabwe?

If there were any country to put my money in light of a worldwide depression if would be Cuba. They HAD their oil crisis and are now almost completely oil-independent. Their economics make sense (0.3% inflation), they are stable and their literacy rate is 100%. I'd go Cuban pesos.

Good waste of a thousand euros, that. Inflation is like 12,500,000% at the highest current estimate.

Plus, you'll find it hard to get Z$ anywhere, I think, outside of Africa. It's not really a desirable currency at the moment

Actually Zimbabwe hasn't had a formal currrency since 2002 or 2003, the "Currency" they have now are really just a type of cheque which expires at a given date.

So really Zimbabwean Money is not really legal tender at all it is just a type of Cheque. Don't beleive me? Look it up.

That doesn't really mean that much though. A country like Zimbabwe prints tons and tons of their dollars so they aren't worth hardly anything. A government could only print a few dollars and their currency would be the most valuable in the world.

      Forgot about Brasil?

They are 100% free of foreign fuel imports.

They grow sugar cane and switch grass for ethanol, I think 85% of the population there uses a flex fuel car which drives on ethanol or gasoline, they supply their own crude oil also.

Who wants to move to brasil?

Yeah, on fields once full of cattle, or full of jungle. Now it turns out people actually needed that food and are falling into food poverty. Yipes, didn't see that one coming.

If the currency raises by €0.0001, you'll have a ton of money. Obviously nobody has ever thought of this, and you're going to be a rich man. I say do it!

I never once heard that, is that true?

I've seen documentaries on their energy system, but they did not speak about scarce food or anything, actually they said that the sugar cane they use for fuel also is used for food, so I just don't believe your post.

Brasil has always had poverty issues from what i've seen, I don't think being totally energy independant was the main cause of it.
