i think it comes out sometime the end of this year. or maybe during the first quater of the nex year(like feb or march) im not really sure. you really should check out www.gametrailers.com and go search for the burnout 3 trailer there. so far the game looks REALLY nice

Get with the times, Gran Turismo 4 is out soon.

I wanted to get my friend Grand Turismo 3 for is Birthday because its $20. BUt he wanted Need for Speed: Underground which is $50. I sayed forget it. But I always wanted to see what Burnout was like, maybe I'll give it a try.

Hold On! (I feel this sensation in me to...) MUST.....BACK.....UP.....GAMECUBE.....GAAAHHHHHH. Ok listen up. GC is just as well in graphics power than the PS2, maybe even better because of the more RAM. On the disc subject, Almost all games never use up all the space in the game disc, and on the PS2 the blue discs or regular CDs and not DVDs because games dont really use so much space. Thats why the GC has little discs and also to prevent them from being copied on a burner, like the PS2 discs can making sales on games go down. And the future is smaller and more compact size items. Nintendo just thought more ahead, and I think that Sony will follow in the same direction in the future for its PS3. But dont get me wrong, I like PS2, but what I dont like about it is that it has to have backward capabilities with every single modern version of the PSsystems that will come out, making it the same connections and the same disc size and same everything like the others. Making it not advance much because it has to follow on its previous model. Nintendo thinks more fresh and new. Nuff Said.

i've heard the gamecube is the fastest loading console out there, while the xbox is the prettiest..not sure what the PS2 is for...

You're right, but the better games (ie. GT3) come on silver disc which ARE DVDs.

GT4 is going to be INCREDIBLE, 10 times as many tracks, 10 times as many cars! It's the closest you can get to racing without being in a car.

GC is fast loading. And the PS2 is the slowest, Why? Because its like a little kid which you have to keep telling it all the time what to do. And Xbox and GC use newer technology. Yes, PS2 has great games, but thats only because Sony buys the companies which make these games so only they would stay with them and not make a profit out of the other systems. Sounds like Sony is scared of competition. Nuff Said.

Gamecube is the shiznit...or something....AMazing power in that small box. Sure its not a super computer like the X-Box but who cares? X-Box is ridiculosly big and the games are all just different versions of Halo....well not exactly. But Gamecube totally keeps up and runs the same games jsut as smoothly. But ultimately Im a nintendo fan becasue of the quality of the game desiging. Did I jsut make sense? I havent slept all night..forgive me..

Yes the GameCube is a great and wonderfull machine, but this topic is really about GT3, which happens to be on the PS2. I loved GT2, spent hours playing it and perfecting it. Makes me want to get GT3.

Sorry to bash the PS2 like that. Its because I will always backup the Nintendo when ever there is a hater. I just dont like the way that people hate the GC just cause they chose to buy the PS2 and stick with it. I love my GC and cant wait for Resident Evil 4 to come out. Now this game will make everyone think different. Just look at the screen shots or movie clips and see if you can proove me wrong.

Regardless of whether or not Sony is scared of competition, the fact remains that they have better games. Also, only the PS2 comes with a built in DVD player (addition equipment must be purchased to view DVDs on XBox).

However, my experience has led me to believe that XBox is the superior gaming machine.

- Most processing power
- Can load personal music onto hard drive to play during gameplay

But just wait until the PS3 comes out next year.

yeah, i really dont like how you have to buy DVD accessories in order to view them. they should've been a little more generous. I really like the option to load music into the Xbox instead of listening to crap music some games have

y'know they better do a better job this time with the PS3. It kinda pisses me off that the PS2 can break down so easily and the quality isnt so good. sony made it up though by giving everyone free repairs with those who have disc read errors, but they shouldnt be breaking down in the first place

OK i have all 3 of them. Xbox runs faster and the graphics are superb. Gamecube doesn't have great graphics but it has very fast loading. Ps2 graphics are decent yet not as good as xbox and it is horribly frikin slow. My rank.

About the graphics argument between ps2 and xbox. The reason i say this is based on capability. Xbox is way more capable of displaying more enriched graphics. If you don't belive me then ask yourself this question. What game in ps2 can beat the graphics in splinter cell and halo? None of them. Ps2 does not have the capability.
