Thread: Have a good day~

That just reminds me of an Irish comedian who visited America and had people tell him "have a nice day", and he said, "I'll have whatever kind of day I want, thank you very much!" He also proceeded to talk about how Americans have a peculiar obsession with happiness and having as much of it as possible, all the time.

Apparently other countries don't put so much weight on happiness on the emotional scale.... is this true? Is it really more of an American trait to have an attitude of "life's not worth it unless you're happy"?

I don't know quite what that was, but it was amazing. I couldn't stop smiling listening to it. Thanks for posting.
