      I got a speeding ticket

      Yeah, so last night my friends and I were going out for dinner and we were running late. So I got on the freeway. I was doing about 85 coming off the on ramp so I could pass some cars and save some time. Well, then my friend said he say a police car and that I should slow down. I did but I was to late. He got me in a speed trap THAT I'VE KNOW ABOUT FOR YEARS and he pulled me over. He said he clocked me at 79 in a 55. Oops! So now I have to go to court and pay my $130 fine. I thought that was really high for a speeding ticket, but he said he gave me the minimum. Bottom line, my parents are pissed!

      Speed Traps. Pah.

      Why not get rid of speeding fines and limits altogether? Then when people start crashing into each other and getting hurt, they'll soon learn! Bwahahha!

      There are always ways around getting a ticket you just have to be smart and figure it out.

      For example, this guy asked to see the registration papers of the radar gun, and it happened to be like 2 days over the expiriation date of the service! and it was a FREAKING heavy ticket...

      you have to go to court for that? wow. of course, you were 24 miles/h over, which is more than 23 km/h over, which is what i was clocked at when i got my one and only speeding ticket, 4 years ago. i just had to pay a fine and got some points. but then my dad got the help of an ex-police officer who now fights tickets for people in my area, and he got it knocked down to pretty well nothing. i have no idea what reasoning he used because i was totally guilty of speeding...heh...

      i get a ticket for doing 13 over... two weeks ago this girl was following me to lunch and we were going at least 20 over... she gets pulled over and she gets a warning! boobs can work wonders!

      I was really hoping he would let me off on a warning, being my first time and all, but when he said 79, I knew I was screwed. Now that I think about it, I'm due for an oil change...
