I should be floating, but I'm weighted by thinking
Guttarrist would be van halen
Drummer would be the drummer from black sabbath
Singer would be Glenn Danzig
Im still not sure about the bassist. I will edit it i i can think of someone.
Mmmmm. What a SWEET question! Limiting myself to the living...
Singers: Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush
Keys: Keith Emerson (or Rick Wakeman - tough call here...)
Guitar 1: John McGlaughlin
Guitar 2: Adrian Belew
Bass: Victor Wooton
Drums: Bill Bruford
That would about do it. Yeah.
God only knows what it would sound like though!

Freddy Mercury and Phil Collins. EXCELLENT thought... imagine their voices together too!
I didn't consider Mercury because I was sticking with the living. Mercury was, in my humble opinion, the greatest male rock vocalist in history. The stuff Queen was doing under Mercury's direction with an 8 track tape machine remains staggering even when considered from the perspective of available modern technology and practically limitless track availability.

Pete best never, Ringo forever.
Ringos not bad at all... Ever seen Help!? Magical Mystery? And Strawberry Fields Forever is very good. That might be one where they reversed the tracks though. Can't reMember.

You can't have a band full of leaders.
In theory it would work but if you have 4 dynamic famour brilliant musiciians they will begin to cancel each other out; and compete; this applies to having two superstar singers or whatever; in theory it would be good.
But every band needs leaders and followers. You need someone to do backingvocals discreetly and/or rythmn guitar unspectacularly.
Best would be some of these leader musicians with some less known but solid ones from other bands.
Kyrie Eleison.
I disagree! From my own experience in a band where four of the six of us are songwriters, all it takes to work together is a little bit of humility and patience. If ego gets in the way it won't work. That doesn't have to be the case though.
Emerson, Lake and Palmer. Medeski, Martin and Wood. Pick your iteration of King Crimson. Pick your small ensemble of jazz monsters. It goes on and on.
There is an artistry in working with artists. It is true that not everybody can do it, but neither is the inability to make it happen it a universal truth.

Awsome thread.
Drums - Neil Peart. How has no one used Neil yet? Rock's alltime greatest drummer.
Guitar - Steve Vai. My idol.
Bass - Victor Wooten. Ok, he's more jazz-based but I'd still love to see him with these other guys.
Vox - Bon Scott. Not my very favorite but I think he'd have sounded amazing with this band.
Thats it, I'm going to see this band live in my next LD!

I think it would be funny if Eminem, Tobby Keith, Chris Brown, Ozzy Osbourne, and Brittany Spears were in the same band! If that ever happened (which it wont) but I would LMAO!!!!!!!!!!

Back up vocals Jessica Alba
Also featuring two pack shalack -ice tea, big daddy fats - missy felony freda - Ice bag and doggy dog snoopy.
Hmmm, I'd like the lead singers from billy talent and linkin park, and all of the music in the band The Birthday Massacre, that would be awesome, but I have no idea how it would sound.
Currently training to master WILD.
LDs: 300+ probably
Okay, new question: How would your band sound?
Mine (Steven Tyler, Saul Hudson, Gene Simmons, Eric Singer) would probably sound like old GNR, with Steven Tyler's screeching vocals, Slash's insane guitar-playing and what-not.
Edit: Also, songs you'd like to hear from this band (from their respective bands)
Mine:
(GNR)
Sweet Child O' Mine
Welcome to the Jungle
Live and Let Die
(Kiss)
Strutter
Detroit Rock City
(Aerosmith)
Dude (Looks like a Lady)
Last Child
Back in the Saddle

Bill O'Reilly: "But do you understand what the New York Times wants, and the far-left want? They want to break down the white, Christian, male power structure, which you're a part, and so am I, and they want to bring in millions of foreign nationals to basically break down the structure that we have. In that regard, Pat Buchanan is right. So I say you've got to cap with a number".
Essentially, what he's saying is that the left wants all these illegal immigrants to come here so that they can break down the white christian male power structure here in America. So we have to put a limit on the number of foreigners that come here in order to preserve it. As ridiculous as that is, I ask one question. Why would the left and the New York Times want to break down a power structure that they benefit from?
How the hell do you mistake a thread about bands for a thread about illegal immigration?
