what i find funny is that i went to the "you might be an athiest" website (i actually AM an athiest, or secular, or something along those lines), and it took me a while to realize they were making fun of me. it was like "you think it's silly to believe in a great force without concrete evidence BUT WE HAVE THE BIBLE" and i'm like "yep... that about covers it..." and then "you think if they teach intelligent design, they should also teach the stork theory on where babies come from" and i'm like "well, that's a good metaphor actually. i might have to use that one next time i'm in a religious debate"

well, i suppose i'm going to hell anyway...

so yeah... sorry I didn't find jesus or whatever your intention was there... i just don't see what's wrong with the things on that site. okay, some are stupid, but those aren't the ones people actually identify with... they're the ones obviously meant to make athiests look bad...

its okay. As I recall, it was made in respons to a "you might be a christian if ..." website wich posted things that I dont beleive in like it was part of my faith

oh, and dont worry. As far as I know, the concept of hell is not found anywhere in the Bible

Right, right. Just thought I'd point out that I agree with ZERO of the items on the 'you might be an atheist' list and I am an atheist. I love religious conservatives trying to bash atheist liberals and totally falling on their face in the process.

Also, stirring up religious debate in the Lounge isn't even cool. This is where everyone is supposed to get along Yelling, kicking, and fighting like small children is for the religious debate section.

I sorta kinda wanna become Christian but it's stuff like this that turns me away from it.

Yeah, I don't think any of that is true. I guess I'm an atheist, but I call my self agnostic because most don't like the idea of atheism. Except for atheists, I mean.
I was raised non-religious (I've never talked to my parents about religion, and don't really want to) and I want to keep it that way. It makes things less complicated, and frees up an hour or two on Sunday.
