An easy way you can manually degauss a television is to *SLOWLY* bring the magnet to within several inches of the
screen face. Then ***slowly*** draw the center of the magnet toward one edge of the screen and trace the perimeter of the screen face. Then return to the original position of the magnet being flat against the center of the
screen. Next, slowly decrease the field to zero by backing straight up
across the room as you hold the magnet. When you are farther than 3 feet
away you can stop.

Or you could just fix it the Russian way and punch it until it works

I thought the Russian way was to spill beer all over it, then punch it until it works.

Since you said you can undo it, kind of makes me want to try just to see what it looks like. I am not going to though heh.

if you wanna try and see what it looks like first check if your monitor has a degaus function (i think all monitors do) then go crazy with the monitor and look at all the pretty colors! Then degaus it.

Dont worry, its supposed to go *THUNK!* when you degaus it.

I can do that with my monitor. It goes "flippity floopity floop floop floop floop nee naw nee naw this is CNN news" when I degauss it. Is that okay?

Watching CNN News is not ok....
