I say go for the XL.
Now what the hell is a Microkorg?
Help me guys!!!
I'm really stuck for choice between the KORG Microkorg and the KORG Microkorg XL. On looks, I would 100% go for the gorgeously retro looking original, however I don't tend to go by that normally. I noticed that the vocoder on the XL has 16 bands as apposed to the original's 8 band, it has bigger keys, and it has a USB interface, unlike the original. Overall, the XL is about £40 more expensive...
What do you guys think? Have any of you got a Microkorg or the XL? Please share what you think. Is the vocoder on the XL REALLY that much better? Does the USB interface make it any easier at all?
Cheers,
Calum

Hahaha, Let me Google that for you.
Yea, ehhh, I hadn't heard of it either, so Let me Google that for ME.
...Still don't understand what it is.
Is it a keyboard, or is it computer software that can be used along with a keyboard?

I believe it is a piano keyboard thingy
Lol, a Microkorg is a KORG Synthesizer guys.

I'd say it depends on what you're using it for.
If it's for live work then go for the XL. You'll feel the difference in the keys, and have a better vocoder when you're using it.
If it's for production then go with the original. Cheaper, and has the same sounds.
EDIT: If it's for both, then go with the XL still.
