how can you not like winamp
I mean, seriously ?!?
i started with winamp--didn't like it. moved onto windows media player--didn't like it. now i'm using itunes--i don't like it. does anyone use any other program that contains a library gui and doesn't crash constantly or insert noticeable pauses in between songs?

I use Windows Media Player and ive never had a problem w/ it crashing or playing a song. I use it daily and have close to 1,000 songs.

Media Player 10. Not a problem with it.

I think iTunes has a better visualizer, and I like its set up a little more than others.
[foobar] in my opinion is the best player out-there, but it's not for those faint of heart.
Once you install it, all you get is a playlist with some buttons over it. But ,it've the most customizable player out-there. You have to spend some time learning it and tweaking it though. If you don't like reading tutorials, it's not for you.
To see what foobar is capable of, take a look at this thread on their boards:

as you can see, you can do whatever you want with it, if you are willing to spend the time.
For me, what kills winamp are two things: lack of unicode (i have a lot of russian music) and the ugly interface. I've yet to find one skin that i like.
