Thread: Need Help on an essay

I need someone who speaks spanish to proofread this, actually i guess i'll just translate it. But anyways its about peruvian culture and it needs to be like 5 or so paragraphs long, just need ideas on the peruvian culture

The topic: "Pick an aspect of peru and tell about why you would explore it if you had an opportunity to visit the country." It is for a scholarship. Right now i am prettu much stumped as to what to write, because i dont know anything about peruvian culture

La Cultura Peruana
Hay muchos aspectos que me interesan de la cultura peruana como la comida, las lenguas, las gentes, la religion, y las culturas antiguas que todavía existen en este tiempo. Lo que parece ser la opción obvia de los aspectos que mencioné es las culturas antiguas. Me fascinan porque son tan independientes y se han mantenido por años incontables. Me encantaría poder ir a Perú para aprender más que solamente puedo aprender de leer acerca de estas cosas.
La gente de las Quechua es una cultura de americanos natives que todavía vive y se mantiene en Perú. Son los descendientes del imperio Inca que controlaba sudamerica ántes de que vinieran los europeos. Los Inca construyeron lugares en Perú como Machu Picchu, las lineas de Nazca, la ciudad de Tiahuanaco, y la ciudad de Cusco. Si tuviera la oportunidad de ir a Perú, me encantaría poder visitor estos lugares. Pueden enseñar a una persona sobre el pasado y como vivían estas gentes como los Quechua.

Translation: The culture of Peru
There are many aspects of the Peruvian culture that interest me like the food, the languages, the people, the religion, and the ancient cultures that still exist to this day. What seems to be the obvious choice of the aspects I mentioned is the ancient cultures. They fascinate me because they are so independent and have maintained themselves for countless years. I would love to go to Peru in order to learn more than I can learn from just reading about these things.
The Quechua people are a culture of Native Americans that still lives and thrives in Peru. They are the descendants of the Incan Empire that controlled South America before the Europeans came over. The Incas constructed places in Peru like Macchu Pichu, the Nazca lines, the city of Tiahuanaco, and the city of Cusco. If I had the opportunity to go to Peru, I would love to visit these places. They can teach a person about the past and how people like the Quechua lived.
