Attacked by a zom-bee? Like in a bee-movie? Well, I haven't been converted to the legion of the undead insects yet, so if I have, it wasn't a very good bite.

2) What becomes of the broken-hearted ?

Eh, I've been broken-hearted, and if I'm anything to go by, nothing terribly good. In the short run, anyhow.

3) Who's not lucky ?

People unable to capitalize on the luck they do have. In very poor moments good luck can be turned into Twilight Zone-style dramatic irony, which is actually worse than bad luck.

4) Are you a manic record collector ?

I like hearing lots of music, "collecting" is not necessarily so important. Mp3s are better than signed copies off of Ebay. But I still buy music, of course. I have a freakishly sized cd collection but it was mostly bought cheap.

5) Do you like moustaches ?

I like civil war moustaches, although I don't think I'd actually like to have one. Can't grow a decent one myself anyway, so I guess it's a moot point. On females, they creep me out - not just civil war moustaches, all of 'em.

6) Favorite band and worst favorite band at the moment ?

I'll be a big jerk and pick a band nobody's heard of, but that's just 'cause I'm being honest: that would be the British harbingers of the apocalypse known as ESOTERIC. As for the worst... well, that Madonna-Britney Spears kiss was hot for about thirty seconds, and then my brain started working again and I just wanted to throw up and nuke civilization. Mark my words: in ten years pop stars won't even sing, they'll just hire a couple of teenage girls to strip to their underwear and makeout on stage while prerecorded music plays. 7) Are you insomniac ? How do you cope with it ?

I'm being one right now; I cope with it by doing what I'm currently doing. There's got to be a better way! Sometimes I can't sleep, others I can't stay awake. I can't ever seem to sleep when I want to. I rarely fall asleep quickly when I try to, but I often fall asleep on accident.

8) Which hollywood star (dead of alive) would you like to date ?

That'd be Phoebe Cates, preferably as she was about 20 or so years ago. Not that doesn't still look quite good...

9) Do you have a hero ? Who is it ?

No, but I'll say it's Henry David Thoreau anyway, even though I never made it all the way through Walden.

If you can overlook the fact that he used to be a whiny jackass, perhaps. He definitely has his strong points, to wit:

Well, it depends. If it's me, I roll around in my sorrow like a pig in mud and eventually (waaaaaaay eventually) get over it and find someone else to obsess over.

(1) O'nus, what prompted you to start this thread? Was it...the influence of substances, by any stretch? O.o Or something more mundane, like exhaustion or boredom?

1) Were you ever bit by a dead bee ?
Luckily, dead bees are, well, dead, so I normally just squish them or pick them up and toss them in the trash or flush them or something. As for being stung by live ones, yes, unfortunately, I have been -- by a large wasp at the age of five, and thus developed a terrible apiphobia (fear of bees).

2) What becomes of the broken-hearted ?
They either wallow in their sorrow until they die or cry a river, then build a bridge and get over it, and get on with their lives, becoming stronger against rejection, and more courageous in personality in general.

3) Who's not lucky ?
While there is a seemingly infinite list of answers to this question, I excerpt only a few:
~ Someone whose lottery numbers are only off by one digit of the winning combo
~ Getting a flat tire, running out of gas, or ramming into a giant buck in the middle of the night, in the middle of nowhere
~ Someone whose impressive, painstakingly compiled resume or painstakingly-studied for and potentially aced test gets mistakenly shredded

Records are for fossils. Mp3s are where it's at -- and the RIAA can kiss my ass.

I used not to -- but then, I swear, Adam Goldberg as Mordechai Jefferson Carver a.k.a. The Hebrew Hammer turned me on to facial hair. So yes, but usually coupled with a big, thick beard.

Favorite is actually Tackey & Tsubasa, although they're more of a duo -- so say V6. I don't have a worst favorite band, or at least, I can't think of one that I particularly hate at the moment.

I thought I was, but it turns out I'm just a nightowl. I also thought I was manic-depressive, but it turns out, that's just the concentration (or lack thereof) of anti-depressants in my bloodstream.

I'd LOVE to date the black (i.e. 1980's, twenty-ish year old) Michael Jackson.

Anyone who grew up as being "on the fringe" and mostly outcast, then surprised everyone by doing something that kicked serious ass, and warranted mass apologies from family, old friends and acquaintences.
