Holy crap, awesome! That looks really tight.

A nice view. Looks like people never sleep at night. So many lights. Or maybe we're scared of darkness.

That looks really cool, shouldn't half of the planet have light though?

I had this sent to me from my neighbor a while back. Notice the difference between South Korea and North Korea.

I've had that poster hanging in my room for years. Whenever I look at it, it reminds me of just how much power we have to change this planet and just how inequitably we've used it so far. But usually that only lasts for a second and then I think, "Ooooh, pretty lights!"

But anyway. That, is a very pretty picture. Beautiful...

My favourite part of it is Russia... to be specific, Siberia. Notice how the lights follow a series of
"lines"? Like, they're following rivers or roads. All the human settlements are along those rivers.
I find that fascinating.

The islands Taiwan, if I'm not mistaken. And yeah, about the river. I noticed the same thing with siberia.

North Korea is even isolated on that one. Jeez.

I find it facinating that you can more or less see the depth of the ocean, the continental shelves, etc.

.... and many of the lights in the US seem to be in straight lines.
