OMG! Folks remember what happened to 'Religion' 'Abortion', and 'Gays'.

The FIRST thing i thought of when i saw this POLL was...this is going to go down the drain as well.
Polotics is a very heavy issue, not as heavy as religion, abortion or gays.

But watch out people, and watch your words. If it was my choice, i would move this directly to Philosophy, without a second thought.

All I am going to say is that I don't think that any party(therefore the way this democracy works) can solve what we have gotten to today.... It's just all too screwed up for it to be fixed with any measure within posibilities that are given to the people....

The answer: .........I don't have a clue but we are definately not even close....

Somewhere around the thought of nihilism I would say, but there's already a thread about nihilism in philosophy....

idependent. i'm really cut down the middle on all the big issues. -- and yes, politics can get ugly.

Thinks can be done to change the goverment to a better state but would involve great controversy

1: Tariffs on all imports, why, because we import WAY to much from China. Importing all this stuff from China is not encouraging growth of the U.S. industry. Besides, bring in revenue, not that we need them, the goverment has TONS of money.

2: Welfare cuts. This should make all welfare cut down too six months reduction in the price per child, as welfare typicaly works. Welfare raise taxes for all Amerians so it will be avaliale just less time and money.

3: Amendments. Need some editing here, we need a new amentment that says: "No unborn child, unless the chance for surviaval is very slim, or before six days of creation, shall not be denied of the right to live, doing so counts as murder.

These are just a few.

Oh and please respect other people's ideas, even if you don't agree with them.

see this is how it gets started. how about we organize this so people can't use loaded phrases like "robbed of the right to live."

just say pro-choice or pro-life we'll know what you mean.

I'm not really concerned with politics. It all ends up the same anyway.
