      Rats!

      Hello and welcome to my thread about rats and how they make the best pets ever! I know I'm not the only one here with rats or who has owned pet rats, so do share!

      I have always wanted a pet rat. They are soooo cute, and from what I have seen, friendly. I would love to have one.

      I can't praise them enough as pets...they act like teeny dogs! They follow you around when they're allowed on the floor, they're toilet trained, they groom you, they don't smell...what more could you want!

      Always try to get a pair if poss though, or they may get all lonesome! Mine just popped out to say hello but they were both half asleep so I put them back in their hammock

      I'm curious as to how Chewy got his/her name. I always find rats to be a bit crunchy.

      Actually, that was my first impression when I saw her name. My ex had a siberian dwarf hamster (one of many) named Chewy for the same reason.

      So are you as cute as Chewy?

      My other half likes Start Wars so that's where Chewy got the name. Plus I didn't have any other ideas of my own!

      Nah, she's much cuddlier and cuter than me!
