Short video I made when looking for a job
I had gotten fired from my last job and I had to find a new one. They didn't really like me at my old job and I didn't really like them. It definitely was not anything close to what I wanted to be doing. I only got a job there in the first place because it was the only place hiring at the time. I found a pretty good computer related job at the local high school and so I went and applied there. I got the application home and looked at it.
I then promptly got on the computer and made this video:

I was still watching the anime Chobits at the time and I immediately thought of him when he's looking at his homework. So, I found that episode, found the part I wanted to use, and cropped it to just that part using Virtualdubmod. Then I took 4 pictures of my application on my phone, sent them to my email, opened 3 of them in Photoshop and highlighted just the text I wanted to be read. Then I took the Sephiroth song from Final Fantasy VII and shortened it just the right amount I wanted to using Cool MP3 Splitter. I put the pictures and the MP3 together in Virtualdubmod and made a video for that. Then I took a last little bit from Chobits and cropped it to make a short clip of that. Finally, I appended all 3 of them together, saved it, and uploaded it on Youtube.

Haha that's funny and sucky at the same time (funny video, sucky situation). What did you get fired for, other than general "not liking each other"?

Attendance. But most of it was because I would try to take my vacation days on days I didn't feel like coming in, to later find out the boss denied it for reasons like "my boss forgot to get the paperwork and when he remembered, it had been a while and he didn't want to go back and change the attendance" and "he overheard some of my co-workers saying the only reason I didn't come in was because of what we would be doing that day." I got unexcused absences for those days.

been in that situation before lol I got fired and was dreading put that job on my CV not good lol but loving the vid you made man
