Is it supposed to be funny? Falls completely flat IMO.

One of the more interesting things about White people is that they love singing comedians.

This style of humor involves a person or group singing a song but rather than singing about something serious, it has funny lyrics. It’s not any more complicated than that, but white people can’t get enough of it. Weird Al Yankovich, Tenacious D, Sarah Silverman (sometimes), Flight of the Conchords, Dennis Leary, and Adam Sandler are all excellent examples of the genre.

It’s a pretty good idea because when you have jokes that aren’t that great and music that isn’t that great, you can mix them together and create something that will entertain white people.

So how you can use this knowledge to your advantage?

If you find yourself at a corporate retreat where you have to put on a skit for the other employees in your office, it’s always a good idea to suggest doing a funny song. The rest of your group will get very excited and start work immediately on some clever lyrics. Do not worry about the music part, if you have more than two white males on your team, it is certain that one of them can play the guitar.

Some were pretty funny but the majority of them weren't.

Er...the "black folks" thread would have gotten stomped too if the sites pretense was the same. Why don't you try creating a "idiotic assholes who say shit behind a computer that they'll regret later" thread and see how that goes?

Let's call on a peaceful, friendly and harmonious atmosphere here in the DV forum.
What would be useful is a thread with "Join the FAILED Boat", or "Elephant stomp" and you could vote there if the thread "failed" and needs to go there, and not in the existing thread.
I am tired of the rubbish and ones that contribute rubbish by adding comments totally unrelated to the subject.
The shit needs to be nipped in the butt. Am I the only member annoyed at this end result?

You regret nothing? Your post insinuated you were trying to make this into a "racial" thing. Like it gets stomped because it's about white people which is totally not true whatsoever...so you respond "why don't you create a snooty black folks thread". You don't regret that? You should. I thought the site was going to be funny...a few headings were but ultimately I thought it wasn't worth two giggles. I wouldn't mind seeing a "black folks thread" or any other race for that matter as long as it's funny and satirical, ultimately being worth the read. As for starting a thread called "The failed boat" or "stomped threads". Sure, sounds cool and I'm all thumbs. Heh. That's nice but I don't see how things like studying abroad and speaking more than one language and being dissatisfied with our current government is something bad and/or is only limited to white people.

lol, nice site guys. some of those are me, but I swing more towards the conservative (not republican) so I tend to see more of this stuff than be part of it. Still very funny though because it does describe a lot of the snooty preppy people from high school.
