Thread: Tell Me About Your Favorite Alcoholic Beverages

What I'm really wanting here is to know what your favorite alcoholic beverages and why.

I love beers. Dark are usually the best for me... I guess it comes from having a German dad. I also like (or can tolerate) the tasty of any type of liquor and wine.

Tonight I decided to try this beer. It is a North Coast Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout since it was in the top 100 beers in the world (63rd place out of 76,000 beers) according to that website.

The taste is very complex, with hints of vanilla, coffee, chocolate, and caramel. The alcohol content is 9% as opposed to the usual 4% to 5% found in regular beers. It has a fairly good bitter kick to it, and it's really strong and filling. This makes this beer my all time favorite... and my previous first place, Arrogant Bastard was no match for this amazing Imperial Stout.

If you like strong dark beers like Guinness, I suggest you give this Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout a try. It will blow your mind...
