Tequila Sucker
My parents just came back from Arizona today. They bought me a tequila flavor sucker. It sounded good when they told me... then I saw it. Inside the sucker is a meal worm. I thought it was a joke. I turned it over to see what it was made of. It said, "Malitol syrup, Insect larva, natural, and artificial flavoring".
I've been sitting here staring at it for about a half hour now. I'll see what it tastes like, one moment please...
Ok, its not good. I'll indure it for as long as I can. Uh, it has a bad after taste. But I think I'll try to eat the whole thing. I wonder if the worm will be crunchy or soft. Let me clarify, the worm in an inch long! It dosen't taste at ALL like tequila. Its like eating one big worm. It smells like one too. Never the less, I'm determained to eat it so I can say I have.

That really makes no sense.....A tequila sucker? I would definately not have one of those, even though I love tequila, and the worm makes it all the worst....
Just tell your parents to bring you some real tequila next time....If I hadn't made me

They put the worms in tequila bottles. My friend said it has something to do with the alcohol content. So I guess that's why they put it in the sucker.

down in mexico if you eat the worms they make you hallucinate. -- i think the ones in the suckers are just for aesthetics.

gah, i did research and found that the worm hallucinogen was a myth. worms are put into cheap tequilas because they mask the cheap flavor of the drink.
and the worm that is in mezcal doesn't have any mescaline or hallucinogenic properties.[/b]
