UK PEOPLE MAINLY! Experiences of Drayton Manor Park?

Some people on holiday to England may have gone but i thought i'd attract the attention of UK citizens.

Ok so i may be going to Drayton Manor Park this summer, it's a bit closer then Alton Towers and although i know it isn't as big it's got a zoo to and it looks pretty cool.

It's like £18.00 a ticket online which is cool because it includes rides and the zoo, but i was wondering about peoples experience of the place? Was it fun? Were the queues for rides HUGE( i heard there smaller then Alton towers generally)? Most importantly in some ways, what was the price of food like there, i know it's gonna be costly as it is at any attraction but if anyone remembers how much was like a cheeseburger or something?

      any replies would be great.

I don't know how Drayton Manor Park compares to say Six Flags USA over here, but at Six Flags, it's generally a better idea to eat before you go in and after you come out, or take a break for lunch (they should stamp your hand or the like). Food inside is almost always prohibitive. Last time I went to Six Flags just a Coke from the vending machine was $2.75 for a 20oz.

It stinks, like all other themeparks.

Never heard of it. Where is it in relation to Alton Towers? Further north?
Down here we've only really got Chessington, which sucks, and Thorpe Park, which is pretty decent.

America is where it's really at for theme parks though... I really want to go to Six Flags and Universal Studios... bit expensive though
