Thread: Unusual Flashes Of Light And Imagery

Precursor to migraine most likely. I used to get that; it turned in to migraine and then to full-on epilepsy. But I'm no doctor.

Actually, seeing small flashes of light in your vision could be a sign of a medical condition and I would tell your optometrist. As for thinking that you see people, I think that that happens to everyone to some extent, but if it happens a lot, it could be a sign of something either medical or psychological. If this continues to happen, talk to someone because it could get worse.

I don't know a whole lot about optometry, but your eyes are not something you want to mess around with.

any how all my life ever since I was a lil kid when ever I quickly turn around I see unusual flashes of lights or sometimes images of things such as people when I turn back around to see if they are still there, there's nothing my only guess is this is probably something psychic related but it could be just because I have bad eyes or something I do wear glasses but even when I take them off I still have it... I was just curious if any one else experienced this ? heh this is my first time asking this to anybody because I thought people might think of me as crazy or somethin hehehe

same here. Do they move about like little dots, rapidly changing direction, yet seeming to have a pattern?

I don't think it's anything. I used to get that too, everytime I turned around, if it was too fast, I'd see some flash or blurry image. It's probably related to the effect of dizziness or when you're hit in the head by something. Now it don't get that anymore, but I think I know just what your talking about; you'll probably grow out of it.
