I've never seen any forum I've registered on have options like this. It's just plain...stupid, to be honest.

But what about all the post-whore noobs?

We will have a rate option. Every user becomes a netflix movie. If they have bad ratings, they get raped. That's only fair.

Asher told me 3000 is a super ban. Like, you get banned from the site and they plaster your info all over on the forums and send you gay porn. So I'm not afraid of your petty regular ban.

We had things arranged on music forum to reduce a person's "prestige" the more they posted. While that plan was ditched years ago, they honored my having initiated the system by letting me keep the title "Blabber-mouthed git", which was one of the highest (or lowest) of the possible titles.

I continue to wear it proudly.

Unless you think calling a member's idea "stupid" is...which is kind of a pathetic reason.

That's a dangerous idea. The abuse would be too hard to keep track of. the closest thing I've seen to this policy is an old crappy html chartoom (alamak.com iirc), where the business model was "if you pay, you become a moderator" and that place was quite a disaster.

Not gonna happen, and its a good thing, otherwise we'd all be gone by now due to one reason or another.

I really don't think you want this, BD. In fact, I know you don't.

Well, with the rep system, your post count combined with your own rep level and your membership duration are run through a formula to determine your level of influence when you rep other members.

Check out the rep calculator on this page. It allows you to find out how much influence you have when you rep a fellow member.
