What song is this?
there is a song in this resistance 2 trailer, a song from the 50s it sounds like, but I cant find the name or the artist, can anyone help me figure it out?
The music starts about 30 seconds into the trailer, give it a go:

I duno what it is about that song but it gives me the chills in a good way, sort of like an end of the world feeling, Im not sure what my deal is but pretending the world is ending sure feels, good in a way, its a familiar feeling which makes me just think a lot, and It makes me feel like im "At Home" or something.
Hmm maybe I was born on this earth to end it?

Well I searched for about a half hour and can't find the name of the song anywhere. Since searching the limited lyrics I could hear didn't turn up any results maybe it was a song made just for the game or at least a song made recently to sound like a 50s song.
Kinda reminds me of Pink Cigarette by Mr. Bungle.
I'm interested in what the song is too so I hope someones finds it.

I've been obsessed and searching for about 40 minutes lol. All I could find out was http://www.borissalchow.com/homepage.html
I searched "it will never speak again lyrics" then "never speak again lyrics" then "take this battered soul sweep it to wind lyrics [which is what I *think* was being said]" lol
Only songs I found were by Strung Out and Morten Harket. The lyrics from the Morten looked promising but didn't pan out.
So, unfortunately, I have no clue either.

I'm assuming its not part of the game score but I've never played the game so I'm not sure. All I know is that on alot of the youtube vids with that trailer and on many forums many people were inquiring as to what the song was and no one was able to provide an answer. The search continues...

I too could not find the name of the song by searching the net. Also, I think I pretty much know the classic oldies, and I had never heard that song in my life. It must be extremely obscure.

But, it's put me in the mood to play some BioShock... so I guess I'll go do that now.

I looked through the site briefly and could not find what the name of the song is but at least we know who the artist is. His other stuff seems pretty decent too.
EDIT: I found out that the name of the song is "Battered Soul" and his website mentions this:
* Composing/producing the 1950s style track "Battered Soul" for Sony's Resistance 2 video game trailer with Danny Frankel (kd lang), Sebastien Steinberg (Soul Coughing), DJ Bonebrake (X), Eamon
