Let me tell y'all about root beer...
One can survive on root beer alone...this is true :happygolucky:
Sam's diet cola. Just as good as diet coke, but much cheaper!

I can't say much about black. I wear black shirts most of the time. However, I wear it with kahki

hmm...I need some new clothes, you can hardly tell I'm goth by the way I dress! I wear black nail polish and eye makeup...but being goth is not all about what you wear. it's all inside I believe...and really has alot to do with music and art. and not all goths are mean bitches like me!sorry..I;m ranting about crap no one cares about again...

I find goth appealing on some level. There is a goth girl at my daughter's high school. She scares the crap out of my daughter. But I've sat down and talked with her. Very nice girl, it's just what she is into. She is not into extremes. Just does the black with powder makeup, blak lipstick and the like. Not too many piercings.
I can understand her and how she works. She is true to herself and not phoney, like a lot of the in-crowd.
I was kind of a loner like her when in high school. Didn't really care a lot about what people thought. I was just being me.

yes, I think that's how most goths are. 'in-crowd'....:shudders: if you are in the 'in-crowd' chances are you're a poser. which is the opposite of being yourself! I wear what I want to wear, listen to what I want to listen to, not what some person, magazine, or t.v. commercial says is 'cool'.

Going along with the very ridicilous and stupid mass of the people is as stupid as it gets, when I was in high school I never really fit in with any group..I absolutely had a shit hate for preppy and jock people..their are just..well..ummm..shitty?
I didnt really like goths either, they were well..to..well..damn..depressive and well..full of pain an hatred sort to speak..hate hate hate..not nessarily evil, but dark none the less(its probally not that bad,but its apears so)
I didnt like nerds, they were to nerdy and all they care for are computers and computers and games..not my style..
I liked some ghetto people..some of them were chill, nice to hang with but alot were just to damn uber gansta, which sucks 2
I never really got picked on,dont know why,I some way managed to demand a certain respect even among preppies,I just hanged here and there and with a certain group of individualists..but ive never been a really social person

my boyfriend is a cross between a goth and a computer geek...and a gamer..I am too, except for the gamer part.

my husband is a computer and gamer nerd, but it pays the bills very nicely..We like diet because regular is too sweet and I would rather use those calories for a big pile of pasta or fries....aaaaaaaonce you start drinking diet, it's hard to go back to regular because it's like drinking syrup...But diet has that aspertain in it and it makes depressed people more depressed.

I hate humans. I'm antisocial and less happy than I could be but I hope people don't mistake me for "goth". I wish everybody'd just leave their hair its natural color, ya know?

Yeah...even if I didn't enjoy just being myself...I still think I could find a better style to imitate than the "in-crowd."
Every person I've ever seen in these so-called in-crowds is a complete joke. If they aren't a joke because they're denying who they are and failing to be something else, then they're a joke because of the fact that they're (albeit successfully) imitating some style that is completely unattractive.
Rrrrriiiiiiiight, sorry but my faith in the accuracy of the posting ranks went right out the window when it started calling me an "expert".Originally posted by Paperdoll EP

Watching ten minutes of MTV is like watching two hours of public television. And the phrase "Music Television" is a bit counterintuitive.
And I think they spent too much time trying to read this through their tits...
edit: and not all people in the "in" crowd pretend to be someone other than themselves...
