"Peanut Butter Jelly Time" was a Flash animation that emerged in the early 2000s and became an Internet phenomenon.[1] Based upon a song of the same name recorded by DJ Chipman of the Buckwheat Boyz, the best known version of the animation (usually distributed as a Flash clip) shows a highly pixelated animated Dancing Banana moving back and forth to the song's repetitive chorus. In some versions of the animation, the song's lyrics are displayed on screen.

I remember having to search on msn.com to find it, but I could only get there on my parents AOL screen name, and it took like 10 minutes to load.

It was a song from The Neatherlands I believe. The band was probably stoned out of their minds when they wrote it. Then someone who was probably equally as stoned put the song to a flash of a dancing banana and put it on ebaums.
