Thread: What's Your Poison?

Frozen grasshoppers are my preferred drink when I do (which is almost never lol).
I only drink them when hubby and I go out. At home, I tend to drink wine coolers. Pina Colada or Blue Hawaiian.

You begin with coffee bean ice cream.



You add a little bit of milk to that in a blender. (I preffer rice milk, but it doesn't matter)



I SAID INTO THE BLENDER!



This is when you blend it.

BZZZZZZZZZZZ


And when you finish up, pour yourself a glass and add whipped cream to the top. That step is CRUCIAL to the success of the drink.

End result: The best damned tasting coffee drink you've ever had in your damned life.

Alcohol-wise, plain vodka.

In summer, I really, really like beer.

However if I'm down the beach with friends, we normally get a few pitchers or Pimm's

Plain vodka is my favourite. Smirnoff apple twist vodka comes in second.

I have never tried Pimm's, I will have to now that I've seen that glorious picshur.

I named them my "poison's" never mind the fact that non of them are actually poisonous.
Can't say the same thing of alcohol though. I usually avoid alcohol. Will take a couple of sips of Vodka or Whisky on rare, social occasions, but otherwise stay away from it.

Alcohol isn't as bad as you feel it is. Redwine can be incredibly beneficial for your cardiovascular system. It thins your blood and helps to lower your bloodpressure. While marijuana has benefits like pain relief, it's not good at all for your cardiovascular system. Increases your blood pressure, heart rate, and can cause similar effects as cigarettes do to your lungs. However, the lung damage is reversible. Even chronic cigarette smokers can have perfectly fine lungs after 5-7 years of abstinence.

Psychedelics like psyliocybn and LSD practially induce temporary schizophrenia, and run the risk of causing permanent psychosis. DMT is very quick, I've never tried it and I doubt words are adequate to describe a trip of such intensity. Of course, it all depends on the person, and how one uses or abuses any of these substance's mentioned above. But to label one poison and not the other you are just trying to fool yourself. They are all poisons, with varying degree's of 'toxicity', your best bet would be to stay away from them all.


Back on topic...My current poison is gaming. However, my list used to be similar to SKA's...

I currently have no poisons in my life, not even gaming (I play games extremely scarcely nowadays. I don't drink, I don't smoke, and I don't do any drugs. I'm the most corrupted puritan you'll ever know.

Rumor spread by the government to keep people buying taxed liquor. It can only cause blindness if an unscrupulous maker adulterates it with methanol, attempts to distill denatured alcohol, or pass denatured alcohol off as potable. In fact, ethanol is the antidote for methanol poisoning, so the most that you could get is a bad hangover.

I've been puking drunk on Jack a couple times, and last time I got drunk it was Wild Turkey. it was the first time I actually really blacked out from alcohol. I don't remember most of that night, and what I remember is vague. (had to ask friends.) I think I had...about 5 generous (4oz?)shots in about 30 minutes. anyway, point is, I'll probably drink it again. I mean, I drank Jack again after getting sick like twice. I'm almost certain I will drink Wild Turkey again. I just really like whiskey.

I'm gonna...like...work on figuring out what my tolerance is so I can stop getting sick o_o;

Well good sir, I have to disagree slightly and agree with Zhaylin. My first hard alcohol I got drunk off was Hennessy. I would split a fifth; shot for shot with 3 other people every weekend for about 6 months. I got so wasted and blacked out one night and I, to this day, can NEVER drink it, I can't even smell it, it literally sends chills down my spine and my gag reflex acts up every time.

However, I've also puked and blacked out on Crown and several other drinks and I can drink them again just fine....

Hmmm... that is interesting. I got sick off of... ??? what was that stuff called? It was Peppermint and POWERFUL. I could probably drink Thunder Bird before I ever touch that peppermint drink again.

But even though JD smells of alcohol, I used to get drunk on it by doing shots with an Ice Houe chaser just fine. But my stomach turns just thinking about those times lol

I guess it's only certain types that turn off some of us after a bad experience.

My favourite drink to get drunk off of is good old fashioned vodka, whatever kind. Preferably Smirnoff, but anything will do. Then, chase that with grape drink. Deeelicious.

If we're talking beer, then my favourite is somewheres between Keith's Red Amber Ale, Heineken's, and Coor's Lite. All delicious in their own ways.

Marijuana and opiate painkillers.
