That reminds me of a friend of mine in college who actually tried to smoke a tampon. I can scarcely remember ever having laughed harder.

He said it hurt and he coughed alot so I don't recommend it.

Well, at least your friends didn't try inhaling cooking spray. I heard about at least one kid who did that and died. That's some nasty crap since it expands once it's out of the can.
