Thread: Why My Arm Is Burnt Up To My Elbow =d

Mmkay. Luckily my hand fingers weren't scorched so I can type and click =D

The Moment.
I was at my friend's house. Walkin' around, he showin' me his A.C.T stuff, gun ect.
Walked around the kitchen and spied a magnifying glass. This could be fun I though as I picked it up and ushered my friend outside. Grabbing some leaves we quickly made a pile and focused the sun. It began to smoke and flame slightly and my friend said Hold on as he went inside. Returning with meths I let the burning stop and we drizzled the leaves with some meths. Again we tried and the flame was much better. Although completely unaware of the wind a huge gust of wind decided to blow my way and the flame leapt up at my sleeve. Me, holding the magnifying glass and kneeling at the time couldn't do too much to stop my sleeve from lighting except from pulling it away and getting on the ground (longsleeve college uniform). My friend ripped up the sleeve and the fire stopped luckily. Quickly heading to the bathroom I began running it under the bath tap. That was bloody soothing! His mum reacted well (lol) and we drove off to the local hospital. Bloody sore on the way there. Who needs bloody oxygen anyways... Well I got there and they slopped towels over it for about an hour while they surveyed the problem. Photo's and crap like that. Apparently the burns on my wristy area looked rather severe so they transported me down to the Dunedin hospital about 1.2 hours south of home. The ride was crap. The hospitals don't have the common sence to put decent suspension on the vans. Not so great but my iPod Shuffle fixed that. When we got to the hospital there was this random homeless/drunk guy stggering towards the ambulance going run me over! (wtf) but they got me inside. I got in a wheelchair (which is awesome). Oh yeah. at the local hospital they pumped 8g of Morphein into me and I could still balance on one leg while I replaced my soakin pants (stfu about pissing jokes. A crap load of water was squeezed onto my arms to soothe). So I was taken to the A 'n' E and sat there for about 6 hours. Finally they got to me and cut off all the dead skin. Yeah, I watched lol. I had food finally because the bloody doctors wouldn't give me food since I was seen by the burns guy. Didn't want the egg sandwich after that but somehow I ate the ham =D. So then I was dragged away to the childrens ward because they didn't want to put me with the old geysers complaining about their privates or anything. I prefered the childrens ward because they had a computer and PS2's, XBoxs ect. The comuter was crap. Monitor was not connected, Mouse too, Keyboard and Actual computer too. So I fixed that and it said it didn't have the bloody system boot floppy disc thing. Later I realised they had a Windows ME computer in the next room =D. Well I grabbed an XBox and crap like that and was settled for the next day. That basically it except for the occasional relatives and stuff comin in with their Bugger and Idiot's. I'm at home after all that jazz but now I need to soak the bandages which have some crap in them that make my arm hurt like shit when contacted with water. Oh well. I want my layers back. I'm goin' back down to Dunedin on Tuesday.


Timetable.
4:40pm - Accident
4:50pm - Got to local Hospital
6:17pm - Got changed to dry clothes
6:20pm - Ambulance ride
7:40pm - Dunedin hospital
7:50pm - Waiting.
8:50pm - Waiting.
9:50pm - Waiting.
10:50pm - Waiting.
11:50pm - Waiting.
12:30am - OMG THE BURNS SPECIALIST! Sleep soon and food eh...
2:20am - Sent me on my trip to the childrens ward.
2:21am - Sleepin lol.
8:00am ish - Wake up. Shower ect. Scrunch off my burn fringe and lol at my eyelashes.
9:40 ish - Breakfast. Got an XBox
And after that - Visitors and getting a PS2 instead of the XBox instead. All that stuff.
3:00pm - Home again.
