      why the change?

well, i want to refer some aquaintances/family members to the site in the near future so they can check out lucid dreaming. but if they check out the forums i don't want my actual first name plastered everywhere, attached to ideas most of them have no idea i hold it'd sort of ruin christmas dinners and all that jazz if they knew i'm diametrically opposed to everything they stand for

      why 'wombing"?

when i tried to choose a new name the concept of a primordial, perpetually morphing womb was all i could think of...but 'primordial, perpetually morphing womb" doen't have th best flow.

      hence...wombing.

the deciding factor was when i said it a bunch of times in a row and burst out laughing. take a deep breath and try it...i think the unexpected sound patterns sound like an oscillating alien utterance (and i'm not even stoned )

normally i'd agree...but i take it you've never seen a bunch of fundamentalist christians snap?...i'd rather pet a hungry tiger in a very small cage than be in a room full of my relatives if they knew i was a bisexual agnostic-atheist who enjoys psychedelics and views my childhood church as one step below a steaming pile of feces....assuming they'd let me come near enough to unleash their righteous anger, which they might not

hmm....wait a second. you may have given me an idea

Are we related? Because you pretty much described my mom's side of the family.

      Wombing.

Well, it is the one name we can be sure has not already been taken.
