We like to call those things "molds" or fungi of sorts.

Pictures would be awesome. Possibly just little sediment from your ceiling fell down and formed what looked like a flower out of bits of iron or something... doesn't explain growth or movement though...

I didn't I started using a silly avatar at 600 posts or something, and just some text in my signature. Couldn't really be arsed to make anything.

I can't see the video (why the hell would you put it on anything other than like, youtube or photobucket ), but it just looks like magnetic shavings. Which is not all that special.
