      kichu.. my videos?!?!?

      O.M.G.!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was DYING.. I wanted to reach thru the screen and help!!!

I really couldn't be a nature photographer/videographer because I would have ruined the video by driving my jeep into the water to save that baby.

I will never understand how they can just keep filming and not get involved!!

Oh my Gosh, this video is unbelievable! I'm just wondering if the poor buffalo calf died shortly after the brutal attack considering it must have had multiple lion/alligator bite wounds all over.

      Do a reality check.

Awh usually I can't STAND to watch this sort of thing...it just breaks my heart. But I actually felt bad for the lions! They do look pretty thin, and after awhile I thought it would have been more humane to just kill the calf, I can't believe it survived after being attacked by a pride of lions AND crocodiles! That's crazy. I bet it was seriously injured though, they were trying to strangle it for awhile. That was seriously cool.

I know.. I'd love to believe that the calf was somehow able to heal and live on with the herd simply because the thought of it surviving all that only to die a slow painful death is just too hard to bear.

Does anyone else not give a damn about the cattle and wished that those poor endangered lions would've had supper (besides Nina)?

No, its ironic. The rescue only leads to more pain. It would have been better for the calf if it were ripped into little bitesized pieces.

I would have rooted for the lions more if it were an adult buffalo.

But really though.. maaan those lions couldn't kill it?? Sheesh.

Hoe...lee...shit. That has to be the best video I've seen in a long time. The lions getting tossed in the air was classic!

Oh come on doen't anyone feel sorry for the lions? They must have been starving and then the buffalos came back and chased them away from a hard-earned meal!!! How would YOU feel after that?

The lions lost, that is all there is to it. They were the weaker.

I am not an animal expert, and the baby probably died, but I remember that time I saw a cardinal on my feeder with it's chest ripped out; I mean it was gone (probably the handiwork of a cat) and a few months later there was the same bird...a huge circular scar where the chest had somehow grown back. Amazing.

I think such displays of animal intelligence are important in any case. That video changed some people I can assure you.

I StumbleUpon-ed this vid a little while ago. Can't believe posting it slipped my mind. But yeah, it's incredible! I couldn't believe that calf got up and walked away after all of that.

And the lion getting thrown in the air was classic.

Some animals really are amazing at how resilient they are...I've seen some animals with extensive injuries going about their business as if they were just fine. O_o

I bet the calf died soon after, and was eaten by the lions. Those lions must have been really weak if they coudln't kill that calf...

Great footage! I think I've seen this video somewhere before, but it's riveting nonetheless!
