Mine is Sephiroth, he is myth from early Hebrew and Islamic texts, this particular character is from Final Fantasy VII

The myth is that Sephiroth is the mythic link to the acients, the origional race to come to the planet earth, the 6th incarnation of civilization. Sephiroth is a genetic experiment, essentially he and his clones are all the -so far unknown- missing evolution, the 7th chromosome, the genetic scietific re-perfection of man that imitates the race of the Garden of Eden. Of all the clones, only 2 are even really human, the others are weak destitutes zombies drawn to the power of the other two, Cloud, and Sephiroth.

Ultimately, Sephiroth learns of his orgin, a jaf powered by a reactor, an artificial incubator with the last remeining acient, torn apart, living in a machine, being kept alive by machines...but she still thinks, she still draws great energy. Sephiroth channels her, he is laready the greatest warrior on the planet, and his magic grows...he learns secrets, dark secrets. He learns how to undo the creation, hge learns that there are powerful enough magics on the earth that one can restart the cycle of reicarnation completely.

Sephiroth summons meteor, a dark energy spell that causes the earth's gravity to pull a giant firey doom into the once placid skys. Cloud, the seeminglyy weak one, must overcome the world and defeat Sephiroth, his genetic clone, from destroying earth.

That is Sephiroth, a phenomenon, a very old villan from long ago. But he lets me remember that Good does indeed beget evil.

By the way, Blu, Sephiroth is also the name of a branch on the Tree of Life. (Though I think it's spelled Cephiros). Sephiroth is probably my all-time favorite Squaresoft character. What an interesting and tragic story he had.

I love it, although I typically use pictures of the sun for my icons on msn and what have you, I love this one the most.

I like the idea of it because it's a vast star that we rely on everyday of our lives, yet, it is hardly ever truly spoken of. I love the whole concept of days and nights, and how the sun is the key factor in that.

Many people have confused my avatar with either the movie "The Ring" (which I don't know why, because it looks more like an eclipse to me, and it's crimson red.. not white) and, for some reason, Lord of the Rings. But nope, it's from Hell.

I love the sun and even my brother has said that he thinks I'm as obsessed with it as some ancient Egyptians (but I don't stare at the sun ).

You could go deeper into my liking for the sun, but essentially, it's just because I think it's a great symbol of power and reliability.
