I love euchre...but it's one of the most annoying games to teach people how to play haha.

Yeah...the left and right bowers and all that stuff. Most people don't find it exactly easy to learn. =P

Only thing I remember is the "renege" thing. Was the first time I ever heard that word, and since I was playing with a couple "rednecks" I assumed it was some southern racial slang.![]()

Right, I wasn't saying I still thought it was a slang, just sounded like one when I first heard it.
I can't remember in what context it's used in the game, though - I forget the rules. But I think if you have a particular card in your hand that can be played, you HAVE to lay it down, even if you're better off keeping it (something like that). Then if you lay the card down later and the opposing team realizes that you had the card, they call out with "you reneged". And then all hell breaks loose - cards are thrown, chairs go flying, carpet gets stained...
