Usergroup Legend

Often new users are confused by the various colors of usernames on the online users list. So we introduced a simple but helpful usergroup legend to end the confusion.

New forum statistics have been added to visualize the amount of users online during the day.

Live Posts

As it was discussed here, there has been a strong users' wish for an option to retrieve new posts automatically without refreshing DV manually. I promised to take it on the vb4 todo list and here it is!

Just click on the "What's New" button in the navigation bar and then on "Watch Live Posts!":




The Live Posts page will retrieve all new posts on DV automatically without manual refreshing. You can also choose to just retrieve new posts from your subscribed threads and you can manually press pause/continue:

As discussed here, images are now automatically being resized to a max width of 800px to not break the forum design. By clicking on the pic you get to see the original size.

It has been requested many times and now we finally have it: an LD Count profile field! Now you can keep there your updated number of lucid dreams on count.

The LD Count can be seen in your profile and in your postbit info:

To edit this field, go to "My Profile" -> "About Me" -> Click on the yellow pen right next to "LD Count" and enter your value.

Not really a new feature but now it's finally back!

When making a new thread, you will automatically be shown if there are already similar threads like that.

To emphasize your Dream Journals even more, we just set up a Dream Journal widget showing recent DJ entries in the forum sidebar:

To faciliate the connection between Facebook and Dreamviews, it is now possible for you to link your FB-Account with your DV-Account.




By using our FB integration you can easily spread any thread or DJ entry among FB with a single click on the "like" button:


You can also automatically publish any of your post or DJ comment to FB ticking the "Publish to Facebook" box below the text field:


New users can also take advantage of the two-click registration to DV using our FB integration on the registration form.

There has been a few requests in the past for re-sizable image BBcode tags.
This is now reality

To re-size an image using BBcode, do not use the normal [ img] tags, use [ image=WIDTH-IN-PIXELS]www.example.com/example.jpg[ /image] (without the spaces in the tags of course)

As requested several times, you have now the option to show your country flag right next to your username in postbit!




You can edit this option by going to "My Profile" - "About Me" - "Country Flag"

After a long vacation, the Memberlist finally returned!

In order to revamp our "Thank You" system to provide all the requested features, we switched over to a brand new "Likes" system.

This system works basically like our old "Thank You" mod but has some great additional features for you:

1. Each thread now has a Likes Tree in the top right corner showing how many likes each post in a thread received, enabling you to find the most liked content with one click.

2. In your profile, you can now see exactly which of your posts got thanked and by who.

3. Every time one of your posts gets liked, you will receive a notification.

As requested here, now you have the option to check who quoted you by clicking on "Control Panel" and checking the box below your subscribed threads.

Please note, that the system will only show quotes made from now on, not prior ones.

We also have the option to enable quote notifications showing up like those notifiying you about your likes received. If you want us to enable this, please let us know here.

As of today, we fully accept Bitcoin besides Paypal for all payments made on Dreamviews.

Ordering/renewing your Executive Membership or purchasing DV Points via Bitcoin works like this:

1. Contact us about the daily updated Bitcoin conversion rate
2. We will send you our current Bitcoin conversion rate and our Bitcoin address
3. Once the transfer is confirmed (takes usually about 10mins) you will be unlocked/upgraded. That's it!

Please notice that we encourage using Bitcoin as it provides 100% anonymity and helps to protect your privacy.

As requested, we have added a light switch which dims the lights.

This is so that the site is easier on the eyes when browsing at night. If you get up at the middle of the night for a "Wake Back to Bed", you don't want to have a white light blasted in your eyes. So night mode (a.k.a. turning off the lights) makes it more gray than white, so it isn't as intense a light.
You could even use it as a Reality Check

To switch to night mode, just flip the switch at the top of the page so the little light next to it turns red.
You can go back and forwards any time.
