hey, welcome back!

that's likely due to me clearing the private message table while the board was done; if you like send yourself a PM and then read it/delete it, that will probably take care of it. even logging out and coming back may fix it.

A little off topic but did we change the format of the buttons? =

It seems there's a dark ring thing around 'submit' and 'preview' I didn't notice before. Of course it's probably one of those little details that takes me a year to catch onto...

what browser and operating system are you using? i've removed the style overriding for buttons and fields (because i like the WinXP ones), but depending on what you're running, it may not look that great. a screen shot would be helpful too.

Yeah I noticed that you changed the buttons such as the easy BBcode ones (e.g. "bold" "italic" "underline"). No offence but I think you should put it back.

Actually it changed back?!? I don't know anymore, my eyes are playing drinks on me. I blame it on Hallowe'en.

Omg!1 It changed again?!? Now it's orange again. Oooookay... this is seriously freaken me out dude.

EDIT2: Okay now it's alternating between green and orange... kinda fun to watch actually...

i've noticed with stylesheet changes (which was involved here) you sometimes have to physically press the 'refresh' button in order to get the latest copy.

regardless, what are you running? i'm curious as to how it looks with other operating systems. i tried Opera and FireFox w/ WinXP and they seemed fine as well (although Opera introduces its own ugly buttons).

kinda clashes with my visual winxp style.
It probably looks good on any kinda 'blue' visual style but noooo CT has to have a red one

well i was hoping to get a screenshot from you to verify what i suspected, but that sounds like something i saw when i deleted and removed references to a secondary style sheet that is imported after the first (which handles some of the style values of the forms); the browser was still using a cached version of the template header so it was still looking for that file, but since it was gone, it was doing some odd things (like making the boxes around the buttons wider). manually refreshing my browser corrected that issue and showed the buttons in their new (proper) form: the buttons should look (under WinXP in IE, FireFox, or Netscape) like what CT has posted, only blue & grey.

anyway, i think that's the issue because the error log is still showing the odd occurrence of being unable to find a file that nothing is referencing anymore, so people just need to refresh their browsers.

what version of firefox are you running? i've got 0.9.3 and it looks perfect; it also looks right in Opera 7.54 (except for the lighter squares around the forum activity indicators, but i've tried and tried w/o luck to get those to look right in opera), Netscape 7.1, and IE 6.0).


anyway, i added some width & height = "100%"'s, and it still looks good on my end; any better on yours?

I'm on 1.0 PR... should check if there's an update heh.
Anway, just tried a bunch of times in differen tabs & windows & refreshes, and its working fine again, no problems now. GJ, ice
